The ?rst PPAM conference was held in 1994 and was organized by the Institute of Mathematics and Computer Science of the Cz¸ estochowa University of Technology in its hometown. The main idea behind the event was to provide a forum for researchers involved in applied and computational mathematics and parallel computing to exchange ideas in a relaxed atmosphere. Conference organizers hoped that this arrangement would result in cross-pollination and lead to successful research collaborations. In - dition, they hoped that the initially mostly Polish conference would grow into an international event. The fact that these assumptions were correct was proven by the growth of the event. While the ?rst conference consisted of 41 presen- tions, the conference reached 150 participants in Na l¸ ecz´ ow in 2001. In this way the PPAM conference has become one of the premiere Polish conferences, and de?nitely the most important one in the area of parallel/distributed computing andappliedmathematics. This year?s meeting gathered almost 200 participants from 32 countries. A strict refereeing process resulted in the acceptance of approximately 150 cont- buted presentations, while the rejection rate was approximately 33%. 410 0$aLecture Notes in Computer Science,$x0302-9743 ;$v3019 606 $aArchitecture, Computer 606 $aApplied mathematics 606 $aEngineering mathematics 606 $aSoftware engineering 606 $aAlgorithms 606 $aComputer science?Mathematics 606 $aComputer memory systems 606 $aComputer System Implementation$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I13057 606 $aApplications of Mathematics$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/M13003 606 $aSoftware Engineering/Programming and Operating Systems$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I14002 606 $aAlgorithm Analysis and Problem Complexity$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I16021 606 $aMathematics of Computing$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I17001 606 $aMemory Structures$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/I12034 615 0$aArchitecture, Computer. 615 0$aApplied mathematics. 615 0$aEngineering mathematics. 615 0$aSoftware engineering. 615 0$aAlgorithms. 615 0$aComputer science?Mathematics. 615 0$aComputer memory systems. 615 14$aComputer System Implementation. 615 24$aApplications of Mathematics. 615 24$aSoftware Engineering/Programming and Operating Systems. 615 24$aAlgorithm Analysis and Problem Complexity. 615 24$aMathematics of Computing. 615 24$aMemory Structures. 676 $a005.1 702 $aWyrzykowski$b Roman$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aDongarra$b Jack$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aPaprzycki$b Marcin$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aWasniewski$b Jerzy$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 906 $aBOOK 912 $a996465391803316 996 $aParallel Processing and Applied Mathematics$9772366 997 $aUNISA
