It is a common disease, occurring at all ages and characterized by a wide spectrum of clinical manifestations, affecting any organ or tissue. The diagnosis rate of this pathology has increased in the last 10 years, so worldwide epidemiologic data are now available that show that CD is ubiquitous, with a prevalence of 1.4%, higher in female than male individuals. Currently, the only effective treatment for CD is strict and lifelong adherence to a gluten-free diet (GFD). However, CD research is changing rapidly due to the continuous advancing of knowledge. For this reason, the main goal of this Special Issue has been to address the existing knowledge gaps and help advance such important aspects as the pathophysiology, diagnosis, follow-up, and therapeutic options of this pathology. This Special Issue includes 12 peer-reviewed articles reporting on the latest research findings in and evidence related to CD. The published articles cover a range of topics central to CD and GFDs. 517 $aGluten Related Disorders 606 $aMedicine$2bicssc 610 $aage 610 $aanemia 610 $aBacteroides caccae 610 $acase management 610 $aceliac disease 610 $acoeliac disease 610 $adata mining gluten free diet 610 $adietary adherence 610 $adietitian 610 $aenamel defects 610 $aevidence-based practice 610 $aflow cytometry 610 $aFODMAP diet 610 $afunctional bowel disease 610 $agingival bleeding 610 $agliadin 610 $agluten 610 $agluten cross-contaminations 610 $agluten excretion urine 610 $agluten immunogenic peptides 610 $agluten proteins 610 $agluten-free diet 610 $agluten-free diet monitoring 610 $ahidden gluten 610 $aIgA nephropathy 610 $aimmunogenicity 610 $ainterceptive orthodontics 610 $aintraepithelial lymphocytes TCR??+ 610 $airon transporter 610 $alesion grade 610 $amicrobiota 610 $an/a 610 $anon-coeliac gluten sensitivity 610 $anon-dietary therapies 610 $aoat 610 $aoral diseases 610 $aoral health 610 $aoral prevention 610 $apatients with CD 610 $aPseudomonas fluorescens 610 $arelatives 610 $arural health services 610 $aSaccharomyces cerevisiae 610 $asex 610 $asleep-related breathing disorders 610 $asymptoms 610 $atissue biomarkers 610 $atissue transglutaminase autoantibody 610 $atissue transglutaminase-targeted IgA deposits 610 $atreatment adherence and compliance 610 $avital gluten 615 7$aMedicine 700 $aComino$b Isabel$4edt$01323386 702 $aSousa$b Carolina$4edt 702 $aComino$b Isabel$4oth 702 $aSousa$b Carolina$4oth 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910619467003321 996 $aGluten Related Disorders$93035479 997 $aUNINA
