Developing non-invasive and reusable diagnostics sensors that can be easily manufactured will support the monitoring of high-risk individuals in any clinical or point-of-care setting. Sensor fabrication approaches outlined include silver-halide chemistry, laser ablation and photopolymerization. The sensors employ off-axis Bragg diffraction gratings of ordered silver nanoparticles and localized refractive index changes in poly (2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate) and polyacrylamide films. The sensors exhibited reversible Bragg peak shifts, and diffracted the spectrum of narrow-band light over the wavelength range ?peak ? 495-1100 nm. Clinical trials of glucose sensors in the urine samples of diabetic patients demonstrated that they offer superior performance compared to commercial high-throughput urinalysis devices. Lastly, a generic smartphone application to quantify colorimetric tests was developed and tested for both Android and iOS operating systems. The sensing platform and smartphone application may have implications for the development of low-cost, reusable and equipment-free point-of-care diagnostic devices. 410 0$aSpringer Theses, Recognizing Outstanding Ph.D. Research,$x2190-5053 606 $aChemical engineering 606 $aPharmaceutical chemistry 606 $aDiagnosis, Laboratory 606 $aIndustrial Chemistry/Chemical Engineering$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/C27000 606 $aMedicinal Chemistry$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/C28000 606 $aLaboratory Medicine$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/B15007 615 0$aChemical engineering. 615 0$aPharmaceutical chemistry. 615 0$aDiagnosis, Laboratory. 615 14$aIndustrial Chemistry/Chemical Engineering. 615 24$aMedicinal Chemistry. 615 24$aLaboratory Medicine. 676 $a54 676 $a610724 676 $a615.19 676 $a660 700 $aYetisen$b Ali Kemal$4aut$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/aut$0991424 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910298627303321 996 $aHolographic Sensors$92268939 997 $aUNINA LEADER 02662nam 22005775 450 001 9910720074503321 005 20251113205104.0 010 $a9789819912964$b(electronic bk.) 010 $z9789819912957 024 7 $a10.1007/978-981-99-1296-4 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC7246256 035 $a(Au-PeEL)EBL7246256 035 $a(DE-He213)978-981-99-1296-4 035 $a(OCoLC)1378935564 035 $a(PPN)270612564 035 $a(CKB)26592158000041 035 $a(EXLCZ)9926592158000041 100 $a20230506d2023 u| 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurcnu|||||||| 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 10$aApplications of Holomorphic Functions in Geometry /$fby Arif Salimov 205 $a1st ed. 2023. 210 1$aSingapore :$cSpringer Nature Singapore :$cImprint: Birkhäuser,$d2023. 215 $a1 online resource (123 pages) 225 1 $aFrontiers in Mathematics,$x1660-8054 311 08$aPrint version: Salimov, Arif Applications of Holomorphic Functions in Geometry Singapore : Springer Basel AG,c2023 9789819912957 320 $aIncludes bibliographical references and index. 327 $aPreface -- Holomorphic Manifolds over Algebra -- Anti-Hermitian Geometry -- Problems of Lifts -- References -- Index. 330 $aThis book expounds on the recent developments in applications of holomorphic functions in the theory of hypercomplex and anti-Hermitian manifolds as well as in the geometry of bundles. It provides detailed information about holomorphic functions in algebras and discusses some of the areas in geometry with applications. The book proves the existence of a one-to-one correspondence between hyper-complex anti-Kähler manifolds and anti-Hermitian manifolds with holomorphic metrics, and also a deformed lifting to bundles. Researchers and students of geometry, algebra, topology and physics may find the book useful as a self-study guide. . 410 0$aFrontiers in Mathematics,$x1660-8054 606 $aGeometry 606 $aGlobal analysis (Mathematics) 606 $aManifolds (Mathematics) 606 $aGeometry 606 $aGlobal Analysis and Analysis on Manifolds 615 0$aGeometry. 615 0$aGlobal analysis (Mathematics) 615 0$aManifolds (Mathematics) 615 14$aGeometry. 615 24$aGlobal Analysis and Analysis on Manifolds. 676 $a516.36 700 $aSalimov$b Arif$f1956-$01378831 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 912 $a9910720074503321 996 $aApplications of holomorphic functions in geometry$93417853 997 $aUNINA
