The method enables extracting maximum information from the fragments. It is exemplified on the scroll 4Q418a, a fragmentary copy of Instruction. 330 $aScholars working with ancient scrolls seek ways to extract maximum information from the multitude of fragments. Various methods were applied to that end on the Dead Sea Scrolls as well as on other ancient texts. The present book augments these methods to a full-scale protocol, while adapting them to a new computerized environment. Fundamental methodological issues are illuminated as part of the discussion, and the potential margin of error is provided on an empirical basis, as practiced in the sciences. The method is then exemplified with regard to the scroll 4Q418a, a copy of a wisdom composition from Qumran. 410 0$aStudies on the Texts of the Desert of Judah ;$v136. 517 3 $aThe Case of 4Q418a 606 $aQumran community 615 0$aQumran community. 676 $a296.1/55 700 $aBen-Dov$b Jonathan$01137142 702 $aGayer$b Asaf 702 $aRatzon$b Eshbal 801 0$bNL-LeKB 801 1$bNL-LeKB 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910743400303321 996 $aMaterial and Digital Reconstruction of Fragmentary Dead Sea Scrolls$93559835 997 $aUNINA LEADER 01324nam0 22003253i 450 001 LIG0005636 005 20231121125512.0 010 $a1873413912 100 $a20170124d1998 ||||0itac50 ba 101 | $aita 102 $ait 181 1$6z01$ai $bxxxe 182 1$6z01$an 200 1 $aMalattia di Parkinson$edomande e risposte$fRobert Hauser, Theresa Zesiewicz$gprefazione di William Koller$gedizione italiana a cura di Gianni Pezzoli 205 $a2. ed 210 $aBasingstoke, Hampshire$cMerit publishing international$dc1998 215 $a158 p.$d24 cm 606 $aMalattia di Parkinson$2FIR$3RMLC006706$9I 676 $a616.833$9ALTRE MALATTIE ORGANICHE DEL SISTEMA NERVOSO CENTRALE. With overviews of each key period and detailed illustrations for each new style, How to read a dress is an authoritative visual guide to women's fashion across five centuries. Each entry includes annotated color images of historical garments, outlining important features and highlighting how styles have developed over time, whether in shape, fabric choice, trimming, or undergarments. Readers will learn how garments were constructed and where their inspiration stemmed from at key points in history -- as well as how dresses have varied in type, cut, detailing and popularity according to the occasion and the class, age and social status of the wearer. This lavishly illustrated book is the ideal tool for anyone who has ever wanted to know their cartridge pleats from their Re?camier ruffles. Equipping the reader with all the information they need to 'read' a dress, this is the ultimate guide for students, researchers, and anyone interested in historical fashion"--Publisher's description. 606 $aWomen's clothing$xHistory 606 $aFashion$xHistory 606 $aFashion & textiles: design$2bicssc 615 0$aWomen's clothing$xHistory. 615 0$aFashion$xHistory. 615 7$aFashion & textiles: design 676 $a391/.2 700 $aEdwards$b Lydia$g(Lydia Jenny),$01221329 801 0$bDLC 801 1$bCaBNVSL 801 2$bCaBNVSL 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910151747203321 996 $aHow to read a dress$92834924 997 $aUNINA
