However, in a remarkable transition, they were reconciled seventeen years later and went on to establish a highly successful religious order in north Italy. The Humiliati have been accorded little attention in previous studies both because of their local nature and because of the suppression of the Order in 1571, after one of their number made a disastrous attempt to murder Charles Borromeo. Using a combination of a wide range of sources, the nature of the early movement and its processes of institutional development are reconstructed. The book also includes a Bullarium Humiliatorum, a calendar of papal and episcopal letters and privileges, which will be of great use to scholars in the field. 410 0$aCambridge studies in medieval life and thought ;$v4th ser., 43. 606 $aHumiliati 615 0$aHumiliati. 676 $a271/.79 700 $aAndrews$b Frances$01042784 801 0$bUkCbUP 801 1$bUkCbUP 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910449878803321 996 $aThe early Humiliati$92467279 997 $aUNINA LEADER 04812nam 2200661 450 001 996466625803316 005 20220907140749.0 010 $a3-540-46772-6 024 7 $a10.1007/BFb0087495 035 $a(CKB)1000000000437110 035 $a(SSID)ssj0000321149 035 $a(PQKBManifestationID)12133482 035 $a(PQKBTitleCode)TC0000321149 035 $a(PQKBWorkID)10262690 035 $a(PQKB)10469055 035 $a(DE-He213)978-3-540-46772-4 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC5594640 035 $a(Au-PeEL)EBL5594640 035 $a(OCoLC)1076237592 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC6842153 035 $a(Au-PeEL)EBL6842153 035 $a(OCoLC)1292355330 035 $a(PPN)155197541 035 $a(EXLCZ)991000000000437110 100 $a20220907d1992 uy 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurnn|008mamaa 181 $ctxt 182 $cc 183 $acr 200 00$aAlgebraic topology $ehomotopy and group cohomology : proceedings of the 1990 Barcelona Conference on Algebraic Topology, held in S.
