A study of their reception therefore serves to illustrate the development of the modern concept of 'medieval music'. Important stages include sixteenth-century antiquarianism, the Enlightenment synthesis of scholarly and popular traditions and the infusion of archaeology and philology in the nineteenth century, leading to more recent theories on medieval rhythm. More often than now, writers and performers have negotiated a compromise between historical research and a more imaginative approach to envisioning the music of troubadours and trouveres. This book points not so much to a resurrection of medieval music in modern times as to a continuous tradition of interpreting these songs over eight centuries. 410 0$aMusical performance and reception. 517 3 $aEight Centuries of Troubadours & Trouve?res 606 $aTroubadour songs$xHistory and criticism 606 $aTroubadours 606 $aTrouve?res 615 0$aTroubadour songs$xHistory and criticism. 615 0$aTroubadours. 615 0$aTrouve?res. 676 $a782.4/3/09 700 $aHaines$b John$g(John Dickinson),$0845296 801 0$bUkCbUP 801 1$bUkCbUP 906 $aBOOK 912 $a996248119303316 996 $aEight centuries of troubadours and trouve?res$91886218 997 $aUNISA LEADER 01172nam a2200277 i 4500 001 991000917509707536 008 101026s2009 it b 000 0 ita d 020 $a9788856810646 035 $ab1393188x-39ule_inst 040 $aDip.to Scienze pedagogiche$bita 082 0 $a370.153 245 02$aI profili emozionali dei modelli didattici :$bcome integrare istruzione e affettivitą /$ca cura di Massimo Baldacci 260 $aMilano :$bF. A chemical structure with stereo-chemistry bonds is provided for each chemical component, in addition to conventional information, such as Chinese and English names, physical and chemical properties. It includes a name list of medicinal plants from which the chemical component was isolated. Furthermore, abundant pharmacological data for nearly 8,000 chemical components are presented, including experimental method, experimental animal, cell type, quantitative data, as well as control compound data. The seven indexes allow for complete cross-indexing. Regardless whether one searches for the molecular formula of a compound, the pharmacological activity of a compound, or the English name of a plant, the information in the book can be retrieved in multiple ways. 606 $aPharmaceutical chemistry 606 $aPharmacology 606 $aBiochemistry 606 $aPharmaceutics 606 $aPharmacology 606 $aBiochemistry 615 0$aPharmaceutical chemistry. 615 0$aPharmacology. 615 0$aBiochemistry. 615 14$aPharmaceutics. 615 24$aPharmacology. 615 24$aBiochemistry. 676 $a572 676 $a610 676 $a615 676 $a615.19 700 $aZhou$b Jiaju$4aut$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/aut$0696466 702 $aXie$b Guirong$4aut$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/aut 702 $aYan$b Xinjian$4aut$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/aut 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910785582103321 996 $aEncyclopedia of Traditional Chinese Medicines - Molecular Structures, Pharmacological Activities, Natural Sources and Applications$93681309 997 $aUNINA
