This study elaborates this theme using a comparison of the Phenomenology of Spirit and the Archeology of Knowledge. Es wird dargelegt, inwiefern beide Konzeptionen kritisch auf Kants Vernunftkritik bezogen sind und in welchen Hinsichten sich ihre Theorien der Wissensentwicklung annähern. Inhaltlich werden Schnittstellen zwischen der phänomenologischen und der archäologischen Darstellung der Wissenskonstellation um 1800 herausgestellt.
