Soil invertebrates play key roles in determining soil suitability for agricultural production and realizing sustainable farming systems. They include an enormous diversity of arthropods, nematodes, and earthworms. However, this fauna suffers from the impact of agricultural activities with implications for the capacity of soil to maintain its fertility and provide ecosystem services. Some agricultural practices may create crucial soil habitat changes, with consequences for invertebrate biodiversity. In the few last decades, especially under intensive and specialized farming systems, a loss in soil ecosystem services has been observed, as a result of the reduction in both the abundance and taxonomic diversity of soil faunal communities. On the other hand, agricultural practices, based on sustainable soil management, can promote useful soil fauna. Therefore, the concerns about the sensibility of soil biota to the agricultural practices make it urgent to develop sustainable management strategies, able to realize favorable microclimate and habitats, and reduce the soil disturbance. 606 $aResearch & information: general$2bicssc 610 $aAporrectodea caliginosa 610 $aAporrectodea rosea 610 $aaxonchium 610 $abiodiversity 610 $abioenergy 610 $abioindicators 610 $abiological control 610 $aco-occurrence patterns 610 $acover crops 610 $acrop rotation 610 $aearthworms 610 $aecosystem 610 $aecosystem services 610 $afarming systems 610 $agossypium 610 $aGossypium 610 $aground-dwelling arthropods 610 $aheavy metals 610 $ahelicotylenchus 610 $aHordeum vulgare L. 610 $ainvertebrates 610 $aland management 610 $aLumbricidae 610 $aLuvisols 610 $amacrofauna 610 $amanagement intensity 610 $amesofauna 610 $amountain agriculture 610 $anatural enemies 610 $apear pests 610 $aphosphorus fertilizers 610 $aphosphorus-solubilizing microorganisms 610 $apitfall traps 610 $apost-harvest residues 610 $apratylenchus 610 $arenewable resources 610 $areniform 610 $asoil 610 $asoil biodiversity 610 $asoil biota 610 $asoil degradation 610 $asoil invertebrates 610 $asoil moisture 610 $asoil organic matter 610 $asoil pH 610 $asoil properties 610 $asoil quality 610 $asoil temperature 610 $aSouth Tyrol 610 $asustainability 610 $asustainable agriculture 610 $atraditional management 610 $atylenchorhynchus 610 $avertisol 610 $avertosol 610 $aVicia faba L. ssp. minor 610 $avineyard 610 $avineyard management 610 $awheat 610 $aZea mays 615 7$aResearch & information: general 700 $aBocchi$b Stefano$4edt$0302956 702 $aOrlando$b Francesca$4edt 702 $aBocchi$b Stefano$4oth 702 $aOrlando$b Francesca$4oth 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910674036503321 996 $aImpact of Agricultural Practices on Biodiversity of Soil Invertebrates$93059263 997 $aUNINA
