RANDOM WALK IN RANDOM ENVIRONMENT; References; Author Index; Subject Index 330 $aThe simplest mathematical model of the Brownian motion of physics is the simple, symmetric random walk. This book collects and compares current results - mostly strong theorems which describe the properties of a random walk. The modern problems of the limit theorems of probability theory are treated in the simple case of coin tossing. Taking advantage of this simplicity, the reader is familiarized with limit theorems (especially strong ones) without the burden of technical tools and difficulties. An easy way of considering the Wiener process is also given, through the study of the random walk. 606 $aRandom walks (Mathematics) 608 $aElectronic books. 615 0$aRandom walks (Mathematics) 676 $a519.2/82 700 $aRe?ve?sz$b Pa?l$012634 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910450697803321 996 $aRandom walk in random and non-random environments$91491019 997 $aUNINA LEADER 03332nam 2200637Ia 450 001 996203790403316 005 20230725023834.0 010 $a1-4443-4797-7 010 $a1-282-66168-X 010 $a9786612661686 010 $a1-4443-2496-9 010 $a1-4443-2497-7 035 $a(CKB)2670000000032244 035 $a(EBL)555067 035 $a(OCoLC)652653822 035 $a(SSID)ssj0000419095 035 $a(PQKBManifestationID)11267820 035 $a(PQKBTitleCode)TC0000419095 035 $a(PQKBWorkID)10381616 035 $a(PQKB)10144389 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC555067 035 $a(EXLCZ)992670000000032244 100 $a20100119d2010 uy 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aur|n|---||||| 181 $ctxt 182 $cc 183 $acr 200 00$aGuided reflection$b[electronic resource] $ea narrative approach to advancing professional practice /$fedited by Christopher Johns 205 $a2nd ed. 210 $aChichester, West Sussex $cBlackwell$d2010 215 $a1 online resource (318 p.) 300 $aRev. ed. of: Guided reflection / Christopher Johns ; with contributions from Aileen Joiner ...
