The Higher Education Evidence Based Policy Making: a necessary premise for progress in Romania project was implemented by the Executive Agency for Higher Education, Research, Development and Innovation Funding (UEFISCDI) in the timeframe February 2012 ? February 2014, being co-financed by the European Social Fund through the Operational Programme ?Administrative Capacity Development?. The project aimed to increase the capacity of public administration for evidence-based policy making in the field of higher education, while focusing on good practices at international level and impact assessment. With the contribution of the national and international experts, the project has generated a number of analysis and studies on the existing higher education public policies (quality assurance, internationalisation, equity, data collection, the Bologna Process, financing of higher education). Based on the results of the project, the book will reunite a number of policy research articles which would tap into the innovative aspects of the project's activities and provide a concise overview of what good practices can be drawn from the empirical research conducted in this project. The book will therefore aim to improve the information on Romanian higher education reforms, as well as on the concrete evidence-based policy proposals which could be transformed into future policy solutions in the Romanian higher education system. 606 $aHigher education 606 $aEducational policy 606 $aEducation and state 606 $aInternational education  606 $aComparative education 606 $aHigher Education$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/O36000 606 $aEducational Policy and Politics$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/O19000 606 $aInternational and Comparative Education$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/O13000 610 $aHigher Education 610 $aEducational Policy and Politics 610 $aInternational and Comparative Education 610 $aInternational higher education arena 610 $aHigher education reforms 610 $aUEFISCDI 610 $aEvidence-based policy making 610 $aHigher education in Romania 610 $aHigher education public policies 615 0$aHigher education. 615 0$aEducational policy. 615 0$aEducation and state. 615 0$aInternational education . 615 0$aComparative education. 615 14$aHigher Education. 615 24$aEducational Policy and Politics. 615 24$aInternational and Comparative Education. 676 $a378 700 $aCuraj$b Adrian$4edt$01224233 702 $aCuraj$b Adrian$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aDeca$b Ligia$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aEgron-Polak$b Eva$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aSalmi$b Jamil$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 801 0$bUkMaJRU 906 $aBOOK 912 $a996202046303316 996 $aHigher Education Reforms in Romania$93358438 997 $aUNISA
