Whilst the emergence of environmental disputes has sometimes attracted political repression, attempts have also been made in recent times to explore more functional approaches to their resolution. The Environmental Management Act of 1997 created a legal framework for the resolution of environmental disputes through both litigation and mediation. This book is the first attempt to analyse the implementation of this framework in detail and to assess the effectiveness of litigation and mediation in resolving environmental disputes in Indonesia. It includes a detailed overview of the environmental legal framework and its interpretation by Indonesian courts in landmark court cases. The book features a number of detailed case studies of both environmental litigation and mediation and considers the legal and non-legal factors that have influenced the success of these approaches to resolving environmental disputes. 410 0$aVerhandelingen van het Koninklijk Instituut voor Taal-, Land- en Volkenkunde$v259. 606 $aEnvironmental law$zIndonesia 606 $aEnvironmental mediation$zIndonesia 606 $aDispute resolution (Law)$zIndonesia 606 $aDispute resolution (Law)$2fast 606 $aEnvironmental law$2fast 606 $aEnvironmental mediation$2fast 607 $aIndonesia$2fast 610 $adispute settlement 610 $aindonesie 610 $aonderzoek 610 $acase studies 610 $aindonesia 610 $adistrict rechtbank 610 $amilieuwetgeving 610 $aenvironmental law 610 $atrials 610 $amilieubescherming 610 $aenvironmental protection 610 $arechtszaak 610 $adistrict courts 610 $ageschilovereenkomst 610 $aLawsuit 610 $aMediation 610 $aSemarang 610 $aThe Indonesian Forum for Environment 610 $aWaste management 615 0$aEnvironmental law 615 0$aEnvironmental mediation 615 0$aDispute resolution (Law) 615 7$aDispute resolution (Law) 615 7$aEnvironmental law. 615 7$aEnvironmental mediation. 676 $a301 700 $aNicholson$b David$0801016 801 0$bNL-LeKB 801 1$bNL-LeKB 801 2$bUkMaJRU 906 $aBOOK 912 $a996201659003316 996 $aEnvironmental dispute resolution in Indonesia$91802375 997 $aUNISA LEADER 05289oam 22012254 450 001 9910797216903321 005 20230807220157.0 010 $a1-5135-6432-3 010 $a1-5135-4227-3 035 $a(CKB)3710000000440129 035 $a(EBL)2076489 035 $a(SSID)ssj0001538886 035 $a(PQKBManifestationID)11846165 035 $a(PQKBTitleCode)TC0001538886 035 $a(PQKBWorkID)11528622 035 $a(PQKB)11741077 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC2076489 035 $a(Au-PeEL)EBL2076489 035 $a(CaPaEBR)ebr11069799 035 $a(OCoLC)912238362 035 $a(IMF)WPIEE2015119 035 $a(IMF)WPIEA2015119 035 $a(EXLCZ)993710000000440129 100 $a20020129d2015 uf 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aur|n|---||||| 181 $ctxt 182 $cc 183 $acr 200 10$aMake in India : $eWhich Exports Can Drive the Next Wave of Growth? /$fRahul Anand, Kalpana Kochhar, Saurabh Mishra 210 1$aWashington, D.C. :$cInternational Monetary Fund,$d2015. 215 $a1 online resource (92 p.) 225 1 $aIMF Working Papers 300 $aDescription based upon print version of record. 311 $a1-5135-9739-6 327 $aCover Page; Title Page; Copyright Page; I. This paper breaks new ground in analyzing India?s exports by the technological content, quality, sophistication, and complexity of the export basket. We identify five priority areas for policies: (1) reduction of trade costs, at and behind the border; (2) further liberalization of FDI including through simplification of regulations and procedures; (3) improving infrastructure including in urban areas to enhance manufacturing and services in cities; (4) preparing labor resources (skills) and markets (flexibility) for the technological progress that will shape jobs in the years ahead; and (5) creating an enabling environment for innovation and entrepreneurship to draw the economy into higher productivity activities. 410 0$aIMF Working Papers; Working Paper ;$vNo. 2015/119 606 $aExports$zIndia 606 $aManufacturing industries$zIndia 606 $aExports and Imports$2imf 606 $aMacroeconomics$2imf 606 $aIndustries: Manufacturing$2imf 606 $aEmpirical Studies of Trade$2imf 606 $aIndustrialization$2imf 606 $aManufacturing and Service Industries$2imf 606 $aChoice of Technology$2imf 606 $aDevelopment Planning and Policy: Trade Policy$2imf 606 $aFactor Movement$2imf 606 $aForeign Exchange Policy$2imf 606 $aComparative Studies of Countries$2imf 606 $aTrade: General$2imf 606 $aNeoclassical Models of Trade$2imf 606 $aIndustry Studies: Manufacturing: General$2imf 606 $aPersonal Income, Wealth, and Their Distributions$2imf 606 $aInternational economics$2imf 606 $aManufacturing industries$2imf 606 $aExports$2imf 606 $aService exports$2imf 606 $aComparative advantage$2imf 606 $aManufacturing$2imf 606 $aPersonal income$2imf 606 $aInternational trade$2imf 606 $aEconomic sectors$2imf 606 $aNational accounts$2imf 606 $aIncome$2imf 607 $aIndia$xCommerce 607 $aIndia$2imf 615 0$aExports 615 0$aManufacturing industries 615 7$aExports and Imports 615 7$aMacroeconomics 615 7$aIndustries: Manufacturing 615 7$aEmpirical Studies of Trade 615 7$aIndustrialization 615 7$aManufacturing and Service Industries 615 7$aChoice of Technology 615 7$aDevelopment Planning and Policy: Trade Policy 615 7$aFactor Movement 615 7$aForeign Exchange Policy 615 7$aComparative Studies of Countries 615 7$aTrade: General 615 7$aNeoclassical Models of Trade 615 7$aIndustry Studies: Manufacturing: General 615 7$aPersonal Income, Wealth, and Their Distributions 615 7$aInternational economics 615 7$aManufacturing industries 615 7$aExports 615 7$aService exports 615 7$aComparative advantage 615 7$aManufacturing 615 7$aPersonal income 615 7$aInternational trade 615 7$aEconomic sectors 615 7$aNational accounts 615 7$aIncome 676 $a382.0954 700 $aAnand$b Rahul$01107318 701 $aKochhar$b Kalpana$01546547 701 $aMishra$b Saurabh$01574281 801 0$bDcWaIMF 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910797216903321 996 $aMake in India$93850477 997 $aUNINA
