While Europe 2020 focuses on creating the basis for the advancement and cohesion of the EU?s member states, it also has an important role in influencing the development strategies for potential candidate states. In this regard, the book examines two new member states ? Slovenia and Croatia ? and two potential EU candidate states ? Serbia and Kosovo ? in the Western Balkans. Based on these cases, the author argues that the operationalization of the Europe 2020 strategy depends to a great extent of the role and contribution of tertiary organisations such as educational institutions, i.e. public and private universities, and therefore requires the formulation of an economic development strategy at the national level that is capable of duly allocating the available financial resources. The study suggests that the paradigm shift represented by Europe 2020 has helped to forge a new academic identity, adding to the relevance of university organisations as fundamental agents for the promotion of economic development; in addition, it shows that an intensive learning process involving major structural changes is underway in the four countries discussed, as well as many other EU member states. 410 0$aContributions to Economics,$x1431-1933 606 $aEuropean Economic Community literature 606 $aSchool management and organization 606 $aSchool management and organization 606 $aEducation$xEconomic aspects 606 $aEducation and state 606 $aEducation and state 606 $aEconomic development 606 $aSocial change 606 $aEuropean Integration$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/W33010 606 $aAdministration, Organization and Leadership$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/O17000 606 $aEducation Economics$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/W36000 606 $aEducational Policy and Politics$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/O19000 606 $aDevelopment and Social Change$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/913030 606 $aRegional Development$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/913050 615 0$aEuropean Economic Community literature. 615 0$aSchool management and organization. 615 0$aSchool management and organization. 615 0$aEducation$xEconomic aspects. 615 0$aEducation and state. 615 0$aEducation and state. 615 0$aEconomic development. 615 0$aSocial change. 615 14$aEuropean Integration. 615 24$aAdministration, Organization and Leadership. 615 24$aEducation Economics. 615 24$aEducational Policy and Politics. 615 24$aDevelopment and Social Change. 615 24$aRegional Development. 676 $a338.2724094 700 $aRicciardelli$b Alessandra$4aut$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/aut$0989729 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910255044503321 996 $aThe Role of Universities in the Europe 2020 Strategy$92263610 997 $aUNINA LEADER 01765nam0 22003851i 450 001 UON00502657 005 20231205105421.709 010 $a978-34-470-6694-5 100 $a20200213d2012 |0itac50 ba 101 $ager$aSAN 102 $aDE 105 $a|||| ||||| 200 1 $aMok?op?ya$ehistorisch-kritische Gesamtausgabe$eTextedition, Teil 3. : Mok?op?ya: das vierte Buch$eSthitiprakarana$fAnonymus Casmiriensis$gkritische Edition von Susanne Krause-Stinner und Peter Stephan 210 $aWiesbaden$cHarrassowitz Verlag$d2012 215 $axxxv, 186 p.$cill.$d23 cm 410 1$1001UON00502650$12001 $aMok?op?ya$eTextedition$v3 410 1$1001UON00502653$12001 $aAkademie der wissenschaften und der Literatur, Mainz Veroffentlichungen der Indologischen Kommission$fWiesbaden$eHarrassowitz Verlag; v. : cm$v03 606 $aFilosofia indiana$3UONC004269$2FI 606 $aLetteratura sanscrita$xStoria e critica$3UONC000515$2FI 606 $aLingua sanscrita$3UONC006337$2FI 620 $aDE$dWiesbaden$3UONL003153 676 $a294.5$cINDUISMO$v21 700 0$aAnonymus Casmiriensis$3UONV244347$0781206 702 1$aKRAUSE-STINNER$bSusanne$3UONV244337 702 1$aSTEPHAN$bPeter$3UONV244343 712 $aHarrassowitz$3UONV245869$4650 801 $aIT$bSOL$c20251107$gRICA 899 $aSIBA - SISTEMA BIBLIOTECARIO DI ATENEO$2UONSI 912 $aUON00502657 950 $aSIBA - SISTEMA BIBLIOTECARIO DI ATENEO$dSI SI SHIVA 058/03 $eSI 34824 7 058/03 966 $aFILOSOFIA INDIANA$zFilosofia indiana$3UONC016729 966 $aLINGUE INDOARIE$yLingua sanscrita$3UONC006338 996 $aMoksopaya$91668722 997 $aUNIOR 998 $a1
