Using original data from syntactic constructions not previously explored in the language, the author entertains several competing theories of word formation and highlights the compatible and incompatible aspects of each, through an exploration into new corners of Palauan syntax and morphology. The volume provides a comprehensive analysis of the syntax of Palauan that will appeal to anyone interested in Austronesian languages or formal syntactic and morphological theory more generally. 410 0$aStudies in Natural Language and Linguistic Theory,$x2215-0358 ;$v92 606 $aGrammar, Comparative and general?Syntax 606 $aLinguistics 606 $aAsia?Languages 606 $aSyntax 606 $aTheoretical Linguistics / Grammar 606 $aAsian Languages 615 0$aGrammar, Comparative and general?Syntax. 615 0$aLinguistics. 615 0$aAsia?Languages. 615 14$aSyntax. 615 24$aTheoretical Linguistics / Grammar. 615 24$aAsian Languages. 676 $a410 700 $aNuger$b Justin$4aut$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/aut$01064887 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910253340703321 996 $aBuilding Predicates$92541357 997 $aUNINA LEADER 05795nam 22009615 450 001 9910510565903321 005 20251111110210.0 010 $a9783030852146 010 $a3030852148 024 7 $a10.1007/978-3-030-85214-6 035 $a(CKB)5600000000095465 035 $aEBL6811607 035 $a(AU-PeEL)EBL6811607 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC6811607 035 $a(oapen)https://directory.doabooks.org/handle/20.500.12854/74900 035 $a(DE-He213)978-3-030-85214-6 035 $a(ODN)ODN0010071630 035 $a(oapen)doab74900 035 $a(EXLCZ)995600000000095465 100 $a20211123d2022 u| 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aur|n|---||||| 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 10$aLife Skills Education for Youth $eCritical Perspectives /$fedited by Joan DeJaeghere, Erin Murphy-Graham 205 $a1st ed. 2022. 210 $d2021 210 1$aCham :$cSpringer International Publishing :$cImprint: Springer,$d2022. 215 $a1 online resource (283 p.) 225 1 $aYoung People and Learning Processes in School and Everyday Life,$x2522-5650 ;$v5 300 $aDescription based upon print version of record. 311 08$a9783030852139 311 08$a303085213X 327 $aSection 1: Examining Life Skills Education Scholarship and Programs for Youth -- 1. Conclusion. 330 $aThis open access book critically reviews a diverse body of scholarship and practice that informs the conceptualization, curriculum, teaching and measurement of life skills in education settings around the world. It discusses life skills as they are implemented in schools and non-formal education, providing both qualitative and quantitative evidence of when, with whom, and how life skills do or do not impact young women?s and men?s lives in various contexts. Specifically, it examines the nature and importance of life skills, and how they are taught. It looks at the synergies and differences between life skills educational programmes and the way in which they promote social and emotional learning, vocational/employment education, and health and sexuality education. Finally, it explores how life skills may be better incorporated into education and how such education can address structures and relations of power to help youth achieve desired future outcomes, and goals set out in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Life skills education has gained considerable attention by education policymakers, researchers and educators as being the sine qua non for later achievements in life. It is nearly ubiquitous in global and national education policies, including the SDGs, because life skills are regarded as essential for a diverse set of purposes: reducing poverty, achieving gender equality, promoting economic growth, addressing climate change, fostering peace and global citizenship, and creating sustainable and healthy communities. Yet, to achieve these broad goals, questions persist as to which life skills are important, who needs to learn them, how they can be taught, and how they are best measured. This book addresses these questions. 410 0$aYoung People and Learning Processes in School and Everyday Life,$x2522-5650 ;$v5 606 $aLife skills 606 $aCareer education 606 $aEducation 606 $aEducation$xCurricula 606 $aSocial structure 606 $aEquality 606 $aPersonality 606 $aDifference (Psychology) 606 $aLife Skills 606 $aCareer Skills 606 $aEducation 606 $aCurriculum Studies 606 $aSocial Structure 606 $aPersonality and Differential Psychology 606 $aEducació$2thub 606 $aHabilitats socials$2thub 606 $aJoves$2thub 608 $aLlibres electrònics$2thub 615 0$aLife skills. 615 0$aCareer education. 615 0$aEducation. 615 0$aEducation$xCurricula. 615 0$aSocial structure. 615 0$aEquality. 615 0$aPersonality. 615 0$aDifference (Psychology) 615 14$aLife Skills. 615 24$aCareer Skills. 615 24$aEducation. 615 24$aCurriculum Studies. 615 24$aSocial Structure. 615 24$aPersonality and Differential Psychology. 615 7$aEducació 615 7$aHabilitats socials 615 7$aJoves 676 $a372.37 686 $aEDU001000$aEDU007000$aEDU031000$aPSY023000$aSOC026000$aSTU036000$2bisacsh 700 $aDeJaeghere$b Joan$01238927 701 $aMurphy-Graham$b Erin$01238928 801 0$bAU-PeEL 801 1$bAU-PeEL 801 2$bAU-PeEL 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910510565903321 996 $aLife Skills Education for Youth$92874988 997 $aUNINA
