It shows how post-communist thresholds emerge where relics from the communist experience continue disrupting the routines and rhythms of a modern life and confront Europeans with cultural experiences, affects and material realities of the 'enlightened world' which they usually seek to repress or ignore. In exploring and writing through art projects which engage with the psychosocial fabric of such post-communist thresholds, this book finds ways of speaking and thinking through these transitory and paradox sites, and asks what we can say about other or new worlds, about new beginnings and endings as well as about decolonial and ethical ways of relating to the other when assessing the status quo of European modernity from within its liminal and crisis-driven sphere. Magda Schmukalla is a Post-Doctoral Fellow in the Department of Psychosocial Studies at Birkbeck College, University of London. Her work advances a decolonial, feminist and artistic study of social life. She has been awarded an ESRC post-doctoral research grant and is co-initiator of the Communist Hauntings project. 410 0$aStudies in the Psychosocial,$x2662-2637 606 $aSocial psychology 606 $aPsychology 606 $aAesthetics 606 $aPsychoanalysis 606 $aCritical theory 606 $aArt$xPhilosophy 606 $aSocial Psychology 606 $aPsychology of Aesthetics 606 $aPsychoanalysis 606 $aCritical Theory 606 $aTheory of Arts 615 0$aSocial psychology. 615 0$aPsychology. 615 0$aAesthetics. 615 0$aPsychoanalysis. 615 0$aCritical theory. 615 0$aArt$xPhilosophy. 615 14$aSocial Psychology. 615 24$aPsychology of Aesthetics. 615 24$aPsychoanalysis. 615 24$aCritical Theory. 615 24$aTheory of Arts. 676 $a341.24220947 676 $a335.094 700 $aSchmukalla$b Magda$0905438 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910506378103321 996 $aCommunist Ghosts$92569567 997 $aUNINA LEADER 01607nam0 22003491i 450 001 UON00331882 005 20231205104223.924 010 $a98-672-5222-5 100 $a20090917d2005 |0itac50 ba 101 $achi 102 $aCN 105 $a|||| 1|||| 200 1 $aXiangxiang de benbang$dNational imaginaries$e15 perspectives on modern Chinese literature$fWang Dewei, Huang Jinshu 210 $aTaibei$cMaitian chuban$d2005 215 $a416 p.$d21 cm 410 1$1001UON00332524$12001 $aMaitian jiangtang$fed. by Maitian chuban$1210 $aTaipei$cMaitian chuban$d2005-v. ; cm$v1 510 1$3UON00378554$aNational Imaginaries : 15 perspectives on modern Chinese literature 606 $aLetteratura cinese$xSec. 20$xStoria e critica$3UONC054425$2FI 620 $dTaipei$3UONL000076 686 $aCIN VI C$cCina - Letteratura - Critica (Classica e moderna)$2A 700 0$aWANG Dewei$3UONV154528$0690156 701 1$aHUANG$bJinshu$3UONV188835$0701199 712 $aMaitian chuban$3UONV276136$4650 790 0$aWANG Der-wei$yWANG Dewei$3UONV154529 790 1$aNG, Kim-chew$yHUANG, Jinshu$3UONV188888 801 $aIT$bSOL$c20250711$gRICA 899 $aSIBA - SISTEMA BIBLIOTECARIO DI ATENEO$2UONSI 912 $aUON00331882 950 $aSIBA - SISTEMA BIBLIOTECARIO DI ATENEO$dSI CIN VI C 202 N $eSI SA 126162 7 202 N 966 $aLETTERATURA CINESE - CRITICA - SAGGI - SEC.
