Whilst the emergence of environmental disputes has sometimes attracted political repression, attempts have also been made in recent times to explore more functional approaches to their resolution. The Environmental Management Act of 1997 created a legal framework for the resolution of environmental disputes through both litigation and mediation. This book is the first attempt to analyse the implementation of this framework in detail and to assess the effectiveness of litigation and mediation in resolving environmental disputes in Indonesia. It includes a detailed overview of the environmental legal framework and its interpretation by Indonesian courts in landmark court cases. The book features a number of detailed case studies of both environmental litigation and mediation and considers the legal and non-legal factors that have influenced the success of these approaches to resolving environmental disputes. 410 0$aVerhandelingen van het Koninklijk Instituut voor Taal-, Land- en Volkenkunde$v259. 606 $aEnvironmental law$zIndonesia 606 $aEnvironmental mediation$zIndonesia 606 $aDispute resolution (Law)$zIndonesia 606 $aDispute resolution (Law)$2fast 606 $aEnvironmental law$2fast 606 $aEnvironmental mediation$2fast 607 $aIndonesia$2fast 610 $adispute settlement 610 $aindonesie 610 $aonderzoek 610 $acase studies 610 $aindonesia 610 $adistrict rechtbank 610 $amilieuwetgeving 610 $aenvironmental law 610 $atrials 610 $amilieubescherming 610 $aenvironmental protection 610 $arechtszaak 610 $adistrict courts 610 $ageschilovereenkomst 610 $aLawsuit 610 $aMediation 610 $aSemarang 610 $aThe Indonesian Forum for Environment 610 $aWaste management 615 0$aEnvironmental law 615 0$aEnvironmental mediation 615 0$aDispute resolution (Law) 615 7$aDispute resolution (Law) 615 7$aEnvironmental law. 615 7$aEnvironmental mediation. 676 $a301 700 $aNicholson$b David$0801016 801 0$bNL-LeKB 801 1$bNL-LeKB 801 2$bUkMaJRU 906 $aBOOK 912 $a996201659003316 996 $aEnvironmental dispute resolution in Indonesia$91802375 997 $aUNISA LEADER 01400nam0 22003251i 450 001 UON00307688 005 20231205104041.170 100 $a20080206d2007 |0itac50 ba 101 $aita 102 $aIT 105 $a|||| ||||| 200 1 $aSylloge nummorum graecorum. Moving beyond the examination of empirical examples and technical solutions, the book approaches the relationship between queerness and AI from a theoretical perspective that posits queer theory as central to understanding AI differently. The chapters pose questions about the politics and ethics of machine embodiments and data imaginaries on the one hand, and about technical possibilities for a production of social identities characterized by shifting diversity and multiplicity on the other, as they are mediated by and through digital technologies. Transgressing disciplinary boundaries to engage a diversity of conceptual tools, critical approaches, and theoretical traditions, this book will be an important resource for students and researchers of gender and sexuality, new media and digital cultures, cultural theory, art and visual culture, and Artificial Intelligence"--$cProvided by publisher. 410 0$aRoutledge Studies in New Media and Cyberculture Series 606 $aArtificial intelligence$xSocial aspects 606 $aQueer theory 615 0$aArtificial intelligence$xSocial aspects. 615 0$aQueer theory. 676 $a303.48/34 700 $aKlipphahn-Karge$b Michael$01293308 701 $aKoster$b Ann-Kathrin$01339417 701 $aSantos Bruss$b Sara Morais dos$01726674 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910737284903321 996 $aQueer Reflections on AI$94464945 997 $aUNINA
