With Soundscape Ecology Almo Farina means to offer a new cultural tool to investigate a partially explored component of the environmental complexity. For this he intends to set the principles of this new discipline, to delineate the epistemic domain  in which to develop new ideas and theories and to describe the necessary integration with all the other ecological/environmental disciplines. The book is organized in ten chapters. The first two chapters delineate principles and theory of soundscape ecology. Chapters three and four describe the bioacoustic and communication theories. Chapter five is devoted to the human dimension of soundscape.  Chapters six to eight regard the major sonic patterns like noise, choruses and vibrations. Chapter nine is devoted to the methods in soundscape ecology and finally chapter ten describes the application of the soundscape analysis. 606 $aBehavioral sciences 606 $aLandscape ecology 606 $aUrban ecology (Biology) 606 $aApplied ecology 606 $aEnvironmental monitoring 606 $aNature conservation 606 $aBehavioral Sciences$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/L13009 606 $aLandscape Ecology$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/L19058 606 $aUrban Ecology$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/L19160 606 $aApplied Ecology$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/L19023 606 $aMonitoring/Environmental Analysis$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/U1400X 606 $aNature Conservation$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/U26008 615 0$aBehavioral sciences. 615 0$aLandscape ecology. 615 0$aUrban ecology (Biology) 615 0$aApplied ecology. 615 0$aEnvironmental monitoring. 615 0$aNature conservation. 615 14$aBehavioral Sciences. 615 24$aLandscape Ecology. 615 24$aUrban Ecology. 615 24$aApplied Ecology. 615 24$aMonitoring/Environmental Analysis. 615 24$aNature Conservation. 676 $a333.72 700 $aFarina$b Almo$4aut$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/aut$0448035 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910298310803321 996 $aSoundscape ecology$9255905 997 $aUNINA LEADER 01301nam0 22003131i 450 001 UON00235811 005 20231205103524.595 100 $a20030730d1922 |0itac50 ba 101 $aeng 102 $aGB 105 $a||||e ||||| 200 1 $aˆA ‰dictionary of English phrases$ephraseological allusions, catchwords ... / by Albert M.
