The Voice of the Scholar --$tAppendix --$tBibliography 330 $aAddressing the relationship between religion and ideology, and drawing on a range of literary, ritual, and visual sources, this book reconstructs the cultural discourse of Assyria from the third through the first millennium BCE. Ideology is delineated here as a subdiscourse of religion rather than as an independent category, anchoring it firmly within the religious world view. Tracing Assur's cultural interaction with the south on the one hand, and with the Syro-Anatolian horizon on the other, this volume articulates a "northern" cultural discourse that, even while interacting with southern Mesopotamian tradition, managed to maintain its own identity. It also follows the development of tropes and iconic images from the first city state of Uruk and their mouvance between myth, image, and royal inscription, historiography and myth, and myth and ritual, suggesting that, with the help of scholars, key royal figures were responsible for introducing new directions for the ideological discourse and for promoting new forms of historiography. 410 0$aStudies in Ancient Near Eastern Records (SANER) 606 $aIdeology$zAssyria 607 $aAssyria$xReligion 615 0$aIdeology 676 $a950 686 $aBE 6402$2rvk 700 $aPongratz-Leisten$b Beate$4aut$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/aut$0995694 801 0$bDE-B1597 801 1$bDE-B1597 906 $aBOOK 912 $a996234834403316 996 $aReligion and Ideology in Assyria$92420838 997 $aUNISA LEADER 01058nam0 22002771i 450 001 UON00164732 005 20231205103025.658 010 $a08-248-2226-9 100 $a20021121d2001 |0itac50 ba 101 $aeng 102 $aUS 105 $a|||| 1|||| 200 1 $aˆA ‰paradise lost$eThe imperial garden Yuanming Yuan$fYoung-tsu Wong 210 $aHonolulu$cUniversity of Hawai's press$d2001 215 $aX, 226 p.$cill.$d22 cm 606 $aARCHITETTURA$xCINA$xGIARDINI$3UONC003109$2FI 620 $aUS$dHonolulu$3UONL000136 686 $aCIN XI$cCINA - ARCHITETTURA E URBANISTICA$2A 700 0$aWONG Young-Tsu$3UONV096382$0674624 712 $aUniversity of Hawai?i Press$3UONV245880$4650 801 $aIT$bSOL$c20240220$gRICA 899 $aSIBA - SISTEMA BIBLIOTECARIO DI ATENEO$2UONSI 912 $aUON00164732 950 $aSIBA - SISTEMA BIBLIOTECARIO DI ATENEO$dSI CIN XI 044 $eSI SA 106651 7 044 996 $aParadise lost$91283579 997 $aUNIOR LEADER 02397oas 2200865 a 450 001 9910172153203321 005 20251017213014.0 011 $a1557-6833 035 $a(OCoLC)62161979 035 $a(CONSER) 2006249197 035 $a(CKB)110978979267830 035 $a(EXLCZ)99110978979267830 100 $a20051027a19889999 uy a 101 0 $aeng 135 $aur||||||||||| 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 10$aLubrication science 210 $a[Deal, Kent, England] $c[Leaf Coppin Pub.] 210 3 $a[West Sussex, U.K.] $cJohn Wiley & Sons 300 $aRefereed/Peer-reviewed 300 $a"The physics and chemistry of lubricants in tribological systems." 311 08$a0954-0075 531 0 $aLubr. sci. 606 $aTribology$vPeriodicals 606 $aLubrication systems$xResearch$vPeriodicals 606 $aSurfaces (Technology)$xResearch$vPeriodicals 606 $aSurfaces (Technology)$xResearch$2fast$3(OCoLC)fst01139289 606 $aTribology$2fast$3(OCoLC)fst01156503 606 $aLubrification$2rasuqam 606 $aTribologie$2rasuqam 606 $aLubrificació i lubrificants$2thub 608 $aPeriodicals.$2fast 608 $aPeriodicals.$2lcgft 608 $aPe?riodique e?lectronique (Descripteur de forme)$2rasuqam 608 $aRessource Internet (Descripteur de forme)$2rasuqam 608 $aRevistes electròniques.$2thub 615 0$aTribology 615 0$aLubrication systems$xResearch 615 0$aSurfaces (Technology)$xResearch 615 7$aSurfaces (Technology)$xResearch. 615 7$aTribology. 615 7$aLubrification. 615 7$aTribologie. 615 7$aLubrificació i lubrificants. 676 $a621.89 801 0$bOCLCS 801 1$bOCLCS 801 2$bOCLCS 801 2$bMUQ 801 2$bZYU 801 2$bUQ1 801 2$bTXA 801 2$bUKMGB 801 2$bOCLCQ 801 2$bDLC 801 2$bCOO 801 2$bOCLCQ 801 2$bVT2 801 2$bNLE 801 2$bOCLCF 801 2$bOCLCQ 801 2$bCNTRU 801 2$bUBY 801 2$bOCLCO 801 2$bQGK 801 2$bOCLCQ 801 2$bUAB 801 2$bOCLCL 801 2$bSXB 906 $aJOURNAL 912 $a9910172153203321 996 $aLubrication science$91999919 997 $aUNINA
