This textbook is a comprehensive, practical guide to carrying out and interpreting XAFS experiments. Assuming only undergraduate-level physics and mathematics, the textbook is ideally suited for graduate students in physics and chemistry starting XAFS-based research. It contains concise executable example programs in Mathematica 7. Supplementary material available at www.cambridge.org/9780521767750 includes Mathematica code from the book, related Mathematica programs, and worked data analysis examples. The textbook addresses experiment, theory, and data analysis, but is not tied to specific data analysis programs or philosophies. This makes it accessible to a broad audience in the sciences, and a useful guide for researchers entering the subject. 606 $aExtended X-ray absorption fine structure 606 $aX-ray absorption near edge structure 615 0$aExtended X-ray absorption fine structure. 615 0$aX-ray absorption near edge structure. 676 $a537.5/352 700 $aBunker$b Grant$f1954-$01039079 801 0$bUkCbUP 801 1$bUkCbUP 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910458403703321 996 $aIntroduction to XAFS$92461056 997 $aUNINA LEADER 06870oam 22011654 450 001 9910779329503321 005 20230802005625.0 010 $a1-4755-3312-8 010 $a1-4755-2959-7 010 $a1-283-86664-1 010 $a1-4755-7213-1 035 $a(CKB)2550000000709399 035 $a(EBL)1607047 035 $a(SSID)ssj0000968896 035 $a(PQKBManifestationID)11605387 035 $a(PQKBTitleCode)TC0000968896 035 $a(PQKBWorkID)10985893 035 $a(PQKB)10945847 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC1607047 035 $a(Au-PeEL)EBL1607047 035 $a(CaPaEBR)ebr10635363 035 $a(CaONFJC)MIL417914 035 $a(OCoLC)818796971 035 $a(IMF)WPIEA2012259 035 $a(EXLCZ)992550000000709399 100 $a20020129d2012 uf 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurcn||||||||| 181 $ctxt 182 $cc 183 $acr 200 10$aCustoms Administration Reform and Modernization in Francophone Sub-Saharan Africa, 1995?2010 /$fGilles Montagnat-Rentier, Gilles Parent 210 1$aWashington, D.C. :$cInternational Monetary Fund,$d2012. 215 $a1 online resource (55 p.) 225 1 $aIMF Working Papers 225 0$aIMF working paper ;$vWP/12/259 300 $aDescription based upon print version of record. 311 $a1-4755-5818-X 320 $aIncludes bibliographical references. 327 $aCover; Contents; I. It also highlights the remaining issues in this process. Progress has been made in the automation of operations and procedures, with constant and significant efforts to strengthen revenue collection and improve trade facilitation in a number of countries. However, the pace and scope of modernization remains insufficient, particularly in developing customs control and enforcement capacities, and enhancing operational resources and management. The findings suggest that the authorities? strong commitment to reform, organizational and management changes, adequate technical assistance and project management, and effective implementation of modern customs standards, are critical to accelerate the modernization of customs in francophone sub-Saharan Africa.  . 410 0$aIMF Working Papers; Working Paper ;$vNo. 2012/259 606 $aCustoms administration$zAfrica, Sub-Saharan 606 $aTariff$zAfrica, Sub-Saharan 606 $aExports and Imports$2imf 606 $aPublic Finance$2imf 606 $aTaxation$2imf 606 $aTaxation and Subsidies: Other$2imf 606 $aComparative Studies of Countries$2imf 606 $aTrade Policy$2imf 606 $aInternational Trade Organizations$2imf 606 $aTrade: General$2imf 606 $aSales tax, tariffs & customs duties$2imf 606 $aInternational economics$2imf 606 $aPublic finance & taxation$2imf 606 $aCustoms administration core functions$2imf 606 $aImports$2imf 606 $aExports$2imf 606 $aTariffs$2imf 606 $aCustoms procedures$2imf 606 $aRevenue administration$2imf 606 $aInternational trade$2imf 606 $aTaxes$2imf 606 $aCustoms administration$2imf 606 $aTariff$2imf 607 $aBurkina Faso$2imf 615 0$aCustoms administration 615 0$aTariff 615 7$aExports and Imports 615 7$aPublic Finance 615 7$aTaxation 615 7$aTaxation and Subsidies: Other 615 7$aComparative Studies of Countries 615 7$aTrade Policy 615 7$aInternational Trade Organizations 615 7$aTrade: General 615 7$aSales tax, tariffs & customs duties 615 7$aInternational economics 615 7$aPublic finance & taxation 615 7$aCustoms administration core functions 615 7$aImports 615 7$aExports 615 7$aTariffs 615 7$aCustoms procedures 615 7$aRevenue administration 615 7$aInternational trade 615 7$aTaxes 615 7$aCustoms administration 615 7$aTariff 700 $aMontagnat-Rentier$b Gilles$01559502 701 $aParent$b Gilles$01559503 712 02$aInternational Monetary Fund. 801 0$bDcWaIMF 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910779329503321 996 $aCustoms Administration Reform and Modernization in Francophone Sub-Saharan Africa, 1995?2010$93824706 997 $aUNINA LEADER 01062nam0 22002651i 450 001 UON00105773 005 20231205102614.181 100 $a20020107d1951 |0itac50 ba 101 $aeng 102 $aGB 105 $a|||| 1|||| 200 1 $aAncient West-Arabian$eA study of the dialects of the Western Highlands of Arabia in the sixth and seventh centuries A.
