The manual begins with introductory chapters, which provide the reader with a grounding in the various imaging modalities. There are two new chapters: a discussion of the potential applications of artificial intelligence technology in thoracic imaging and a detailed section dedicated to the principles of thoracic imaging interpretation.The second section is devoted to the individual body systems.
