However, since this first publication, archaeological discoveries have resulted many others which have also brought to light new clues about the art of Gandhara paintings. These paintings are recently discovered by researchers, mainly by the author himself, in the different regions of Gandhara which remained historically under the strong influence of Buddhism from the 3rd century BCE to the 5th century CE. This monograph includes not only the frescoes discovered so far in the region but also many other painted objects, drawings and inscriptions depicted mainly inside rock shelters. Such discoveries have therefore led the author to re-examine and analyse these paintings and to make them all available in a single corpus and with a new approach. 410 0$aHistory Series 606 $aCultural property 606 $aArchaeology 606 $aArt$xHistory 606 $aReligion$xHistory 606 $aIndia$xReligion 606 $aArchaeology and Heritage 606 $aArt History 606 $aHistory of Religion 606 $aIndian Religions 615 0$aCultural property. 615 0$aArchaeology. 615 0$aArt$xHistory. 615 0$aReligion$xHistory. 615 0$aIndia$xReligion. 615 14$aArchaeology and Heritage. 615 24$aArt History. 615 24$aHistory of Religion. 615 24$aIndian Religions. 676 $a930.1 700 $aNasim Khan$b M$01853149 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9911034946403321 996 $aGandh?ran School of Buddhist Paintings$94449201 997 $aUNINA
