Viele wege fu?hren nach Indien : reorganisation von Arbeit im Zuge der internationalisierung der IT-industrie. According to many authors the internationalisation of the IT industry does not only put jobs in high-wage countries into jeopardy, but also formalizes and standardizes the working processes, thus significantly limiting the employees' task discretion. Drawing upon case studies in the Indian subsidiaries of two transnationally operating IT companies, the presented study critically questions this prognosis. The results clearly show that the forms of work organisation and control in the IT industry do not develop homogeneously or uniformly in the course of internationalization. Instead, it is possible to identify specific modes of reorganization that are shaped by varying patterns of internationalization, on the one hand, and the institutional settings of the offshore destinations, on the other hand." 330 $aArbeit in den Bereichen Softwareentwicklung und IT-Dienstleistungen galt lange Zeit als weitgehend resistent gegen die internationale Verlagerung. 606 $aGlobalization 606 $aInternational organization 606 $aOffshore outsourcing 606 $aInformation technology 608 $bElectronic books. 615 0$aGlobalization. 615 0$aInternational organization. 615 0$aOffshore outsourcing. 615 0$aInformation technology. 676 $a338.470040954 676 $a658.18 700 $aFeuerstein$b Patrick$0801710 801 0$bPQKB 801 2$bAuAdUSA 801 2$bUkMaJRU 906 $aBOOK 912 $a996214837203316 996 $aViele wege führen nach Indien$92159286 997 $aUNISA LEADER 04441nam 22006495 450 001 9911031562803321 005 20251001130458.0 010 $a3-031-99128-1 024 7 $a10.1007/978-3-031-99128-8 035 $a(CKB)41521102300041 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC32323707 035 $a(Au-PeEL)EBL32323707 035 $a(DE-He213)978-3-031-99128-8 035 $a(EXLCZ)9941521102300041 100 $a20251001d2025 u| 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aur||||||||||| 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 10$aTourism and Climate Change $eResearch on Global Challenges and Opportunities /$fedited by Jorge Marques, Makhabbat Ramazanova, Helena Albuquerque 205 $a1st ed. 2025. 210 1$aCham :$cSpringer Nature Switzerland :$cImprint: Springer,$d2025. 215 $a1 online resource (410 pages) 225 1 $aTourism, Hospitality & Event Management,$x2510-5000 311 08$a3-031-99127-3 327 $a Part I: Global and Theoretical Perspectives on Tourism and Climate Change -- 1. The tourism sector, a significant contributor to both the acceleration and impact of climate change, is scrutinized for its carbon footprint in transportation and accommodation. The direct consequences of extreme weather events further compound the complexity. However, within these challenges lies the potential for positive transformation. The book explores the role of the tourism industry as a catalyst for sustainable practices and environmental conservation. Through an examination of resilient strategies, it aims to provide insights into fostering a harmonious relationship between tourism and the environment, thereby ensuring a positive impact in the context of a changing climate. 410 0$aTourism, Hospitality & Event Management,$x2510-5000 606 $aTourism 606 $aManagement 606 $aSustainability 606 $aIndustrial management$xEnvironmental aspects 606 $aTourism Management 606 $aSustainability 606 $aTourism Economics 606 $aCorporate Environmental Management 615 0$aTourism. 615 0$aManagement. 615 0$aSustainability. 615 0$aIndustrial management$xEnvironmental aspects. 615 14$aTourism Management. 615 24$aSustainability. 615 24$aTourism Economics. 615 24$aCorporate Environmental Management. 676 $a338.4791 676 $a658 700 $aMarques$b Jorge$01367101 701 $aRamazanova$b Makhabbat$01850734 701 $aAlbuquerque$b Helena$01380299 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9911031562803321 996 $aTourism and Climate Change$94443919 997 $aUNINA
