The crusaders called the Dome of the Rock the ?Temple of the Lord,? while Muslim imagery depicted Solomon enthroned within the domed structure. Jews knew that the ancient Temple had been destroyed. Nevertheless, in their imagery, they commonly labeled the Muslim shrine ?The Temple.? That domed ?Temple? was often represented with a crescent on top. This iconography, long hidden in plain sight, reflects one aspect of an historical affinity between Jews and Muslims. 410 0$aStudies in religion and the arts ;$vv. 5. 606 $aJewish art and symbolism$xThemes, motives 608 $aElectronic books. 615 0$aJewish art and symbolism$xThemes, motives. 676 $a296.4/91 700 $aBerger$b Pamela$f1940-$01048074 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910462121803321 996 $aThe Crescent on the Temple$92476079 997 $aUNINA LEADER 01516nam 22004453 450 001 9911022354803321 005 20250904081900.0 010 $a981-9659-55-8 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC32276239 035 $a(Au-PeEL)EBL32276239 035 $a(CKB)40861264100041 035 $a(OCoLC)1535400037 035 $a(EXLCZ)9940861264100041 100 $a20250904d2025 uy 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurcnu|||||||| 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 10$aSoft Computing $eProceedings of SoCTA 2024, Volume 2 205 $a1st ed. 210 1$aSingapore :$cSpringer,$d2025. 210 4$d©2025. 215 $a1 online resource (828 pages) 225 1 $aLecture Notes in Networks and Systems Series ;$vv.1343 311 08$a981-9659-54-X 330 $aThe book is a collection of high-quality papers presented at the International Conference on Soft Computing: Theories and Applications (SoCTA 2024), held at Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT) Jaipur, Rajasthan, India, during 27-29 December 2024. 410 0$aLecture Notes in Networks and Systems Series 676 $a006.3 700 $aKumar$b Rajesh$0437573 701 $aVerma$b Ajit Kumar$01062272 701 $aVerma$b Om Prakash$01732023 701 $aRajpurohit$b Jitendra$01846531 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9911022354803321 996 $aSoft Computing$94431174 997 $aUNINA
