606 $aEconomics 606 $apost-socialisme 606 $achangement systémique 606 $aintellectuels 607 $aMoldova$xIntellectual life$y1991- 607 $aMoldova$xSocial conditions$y1991- 607 $aMoldova$xPolitics and government$y1991- 610 $apost-socialisme 610 $achangement systémique 610 $aintellectuels 615 4$aEconomics 615 4$apost-socialisme 615 4$achangement systémique 615 4$aintellectuels 700 $aRo?ca$b Dorina$01330799 801 0$bFR-FrMaCLE 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910313032103321 996 $aLe Grand Tournant de la société moldave$93039966 997 $aUNINA LEADER 03862nam 22006735 450 001 9911006876903321 005 20190708092533.0 010 $a9781680159288 010 $a1680159283 010 $a9781400880041 010 $a1400880041 024 7 $a10.1515/9781400880041 035 $a(CKB)3710000000485572 035 $a(EBL)4001752 035 $a(SSID)ssj0001634602 035 $a(PQKBManifestationID)16386522 035 $a(PQKBTitleCode)TC0001634602 035 $a(PQKBWorkID)14950396 035 $a(PQKB)10442491 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC4001752 035 $a(DE-B1597)474323 035 $a(OCoLC)1002061163 035 $a(OCoLC)979630949 035 $a(DE-B1597)9781400880041 035 $a(Perlego)738868 035 $a(EXLCZ)993710000000485572 100 $a20190708d2015 fg 101 0 $aeng 135 $aur|n|---||||| 181 $ctxt 182 $cc 183 $acr 200 10$aAuxiliary Signal Design for Failure Detection /$fStephen L. For example, pilots need assurance that the plane they are flying will maintain a particular heading. An integral part of control systems is a mechanism for failure detection to insure safety and reliability. This book offers an alternative failure detection approach that addresses two of the fundamental problems in the safe and efficient operation of modern control systems: failure detection--deciding when a failure has occurred--and model identification--deciding which kind of failure has occurred. Much of the work in both categories has been based on statistical methods and under the assumption that a given system was monitored passively. Campbell and Nikoukhah's book proposes an "active" multimodel approach. It calls for applying an auxiliary signal that will affect the output so that it can be used to easily determine if there has been a failure and what type of failure it is. This auxiliary signal must be kept small, and often brief in duration, in order not to interfere with system performance and to ensure timely detection of the failure. The approach is robust and uses tools from robust control theory. Unlike some approaches, it is applicable to complex systems. The authors present the theory in a rigorous and intuitive manner and provide practical algorithms for implementation of the procedures. 410 0$aPrinceton series in applied mathematics. 606 $aSystem failures (Engineering) 606 $aFault location (Engineering) 606 $aSignal processing 615 0$aSystem failures (Engineering) 615 0$aFault location (Engineering) 615 0$aSignal processing. 676 $a620.0044 700 $aCampbell$b Stephen L., $0471255 702 $aNikoukhah$b Ramine, 801 0$bDE-B1597 801 1$bDE-B1597 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9911006876903321 996 $aAuxiliary Signal Design for Failure Detection$94392284 997 $aUNINA LEADER 04280nam 22006135 450 001 9911018650803321 005 20250723130310.0 010 $a3-031-89994-6 024 7 $a10.1007/978-3-031-89994-2 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC32234561 035 $a(Au-PeEL)EBL32234561 035 $a(CKB)39710511800041 035 $a(DE-He213)978-3-031-89994-2 035 $a(OCoLC)1530174216 035 $a(EXLCZ)9939710511800041 100 $a20250723d2025 u| 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurcnu|||||||| 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 10$a7th International Conference on Signal Processing and Information Communications $eICSPIC 2024 /$fedited by Chua-Chin Wang, Ralph Gerard B.
