We compare the results of geophysical surveys with the results of excavations in large construction projects in order to assess the importance and accuracy of these survey methods. Our aim is to highlight the advantages and benefits of geophysical prospection while recognising its limitations. We examine the factors that influence the success of prospection in locating and interpreting archaeological sites in different locations and regions of the Czech Republic and Slovakia. 606 $aSOCIAL SCIENCE / Archaeology$2bisacsh 615 7$aSOCIAL SCIENCE / Archaeology 700 $aTencer$b Toma?s?$01834290 701 $aMilo$b Peter$01834291 701 $aPri??áková$b Michaela$01831084 701 $aHavelka$b Jan$01834292 701 $aRekemová$b Anna$01834293 701 $aAdameková$b Katarína$01834294 701 $aK?ivánek$b Roman$01834295 701 $aPetr$b Libor$01834296 701 $aPet?ík$b Jan$01834297 701 $aProke?$b Lubomír$01834298 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9911011871603321 996 $aArchaeogeophysics in Development-led Excavations$94409692 997 $aUNINA
