Policies, Services, and Programs for Early Childhood Intervention: A Synthesis of Reports from Six Jurisdictions in the Asia-Pacific Region. 330 $aThis book focuses on the provision of early intervention for children with disabilities (0-6 years) and their families throughout the Asia-Pacific. The motivation for the book stems from a policy brief by the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) issued in 2021. This brief urgently called for young children with disabilities to be identified and to receive intervention and support in lower-income countries throughout Asia and the Pacific. The ESCAP has estimated that at least 33% of young children with disabilities across the region currently lack any service or support to optimise their development before entering school. This book seeks to inform policy and provision within lower-income countries by providing policymakers in government and non-government organisations with practical guidelines. In particular, it presents real-world frameworks and promising programs to assist in establishing and delivering early intervention services that cater to local needs and demands. It also introduces personnel in the field to recommended intervention practices and strategies that support children with diverse disabilities across the age range birth 6 years. It also includes suggestions and strategies for supporting and collaborating with the children?s families. Importantly, when blended with early child development material, these practices and strategies constitute essential topics for ongoing professional development and training activities. The concluding chapter also presents a critical analysis and synthesis of policies, service models, and programs across the Asia-Pacific region. From this analysis, recommendations are presented with likely translatability to countries at different stages of development in delivering quality early intervention to this vulnerable group of children. 410 0$aAdvancing Inclusive and Special Education in the Asia-Pacific,$x2524-8227 606 $aEducation 606 $aChildren 606 $aInclusive education 606 $aEducation and state 606 $aChildhood Education 606 $aInclusive Education 606 $aEducational Policy and Politics 615 0$aEducation. 615 0$aChildren. 615 0$aInclusive education. 615 0$aEducation and state. 615 14$aChildhood Education. 615 24$aInclusive Education. 615 24$aEducational Policy and Politics. 676 $a370.83 700 $aBeamish$b Wendi$01830303 701 $aYuen$b Mantak$01830304 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9911011657103321 996 $aEarly Intervention for Young Children with Disabilities$94400586 997 $aUNINA LEADER 02462oam 2200505 c 450 001 9910967201703321 005 20251202090341.0 010 $a9783838269344 010 $a3838269349 024 3 $a9783838269344 035 $a(CKB)4100000008340354 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC5782656 035 $a(Perlego)4716573 035 $a(ibidem)9783838269344 035 $a(EXLCZ)994100000008340354 100 $a20251202d2016 uy 0 101 0 $ager 135 $aurcnu|||||||| 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 10$aRevenue Intelligence $eModerne Methoden im touristischen Ertragsmanagement /$fFelix Huebner 205 $a1st ed. 210 $aHannover$cibidem$d2016 215 $a1 online resource (323 pages) 330 $aDie Erträge in der Touristikbranche sind von hoher Volatilität gekennzeichnet. 606 $aRevenue-Management 606 $aFinanzierung 606 $aInvestition 606 $aTouristik 606 $aErtragsmanagement 615 4$aRevenue-Management 615 4$aFinanzierung 615 4$aInvestition 615 4$aTouristik 615 4$aErtragsmanagement 676 $a362.10681 700 $aHuebner$b Felix$4aut$01715472 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910967201703321 996 $aRevenue Intelligence$94110138 997 $aUNINA
