As a result, there has been a general securitization of Islam by the governments: not only do they combat the terrorist Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan but also outlaw popular groups such as the Gu?len movement. However, strong repression of religion might lead to radicalization. Kathrin Lenz-Raymann tests this hypothesis with an agent-based computer simulation and enriches her study with interviews with international experts, leaders of political Islam and representatives of folk Islam. She concludes that ensuring religious rights is essential for national security. 330 1 $aBesprochen in: Portal fu?r Politikwissenschaft, 21.01.2016, Christian Patz Europe Asia Studies, 28.10.2016, Riccardo Mario Cucciolla 410 0$aGlobal, local Islam. 606 $aFreedom of religion$zAsia, Central 606 $aTerrorism$zAsia, Central$xPrevention 606 $aIslam and state$zAsia, Central 610 $aAsia. 610 $aCentral Asia. 610 $aFreedom of Religion. 610 $aIslam. 610 $aIslamic Studies. 610 $aPolitical Ideologies. 610 $aPolitical Science. 610 $aPolitics. 610 $aSocial Movements. 610 $aTerrorism. 615 0$aFreedom of religion 615 0$aTerrorism$xPrevention. 615 0$aIslam and state 676 $a261.72 686 $aBE 8660$2rvk 700 $aLenz-Raymann$b Kathrin$0871823 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a996308776403316 996 $aSecuritization of Islam$92835412 997 $aUNISA LEADER 02309oam 2200577zu 450 001 9911004833603321 005 20210807004107.0 010 $a1-61583-450-8 035 $a(CKB)2480000000006846 035 $a(SSID)ssj0000679725 035 $a(PQKBManifestationID)11930483 035 $a(PQKBTitleCode)TC0000679725 035 $a(PQKBWorkID)10624768 035 $a(PQKB)10713926 035 $a(WaSeSS)Innodata00029951 035 $a(EXLCZ)992480000000006846 100 $a20160829d2010 uy 101 0 $aeng 135 $aur||||||||||| 181 $ctxt 182 $cc 183 $acr 200 00$aAASHTO LRFD bridge design specifications with 2010 interim revisions 205 $a5th ed. 210 31$a[Place of publication not identified]$cAmerican Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials$d2010 215 $a1 online resource (1632 p.) 300 $aBibliographic Level Mode of Issuance: Monograph 311 $a1-56051-451-5 320 $aIncludes index. 327 $apart I.
