Using the methodology of corpus linguistics, and a specially compiled corpus of texts, covering a range of genres, this book describes the current discourse of EU French from the perspective of phraseology and collocational patterning, and in particular in comparison with its French national counterpart. Corpus methodology and an inclusive notion of phraseology, embracing typical formulae, locutions , and patterning around keywords, reveal subtleties and patterns which otherwise remain hidden, and point to a discourse of EU French whose novel context of production has led it to be phraseologically conservative, compared with the administrative French of France. 410 0$aLanguage and Computers$v57. 606 $aFrench language$xPhraseology$xData processing 606 $aFrench language$xDiscourse analysis$xData processing 606 $aFrench language$xSemantics 606 $aComputational linguistics$xMethodology 607 $aFrance$xAdministrative and political codes$xData processing 615 0$aFrench language$xPhraseology$xData processing. 615 0$aFrench language$xDiscourse analysis$xData processing. 615 0$aFrench language$xSemantics. 615 0$aComputational linguistics$xMethodology. 676 $a445 700 $aAnderson$b Wendy J$01786899 712 02$aEbooks Corporation. 801 0$bNL-LeKB 801 1$bNL-LeKB 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910969501703321 996 $aThe Phraseology of Administrative French$94319284 997 $aUNINA LEADER 00787nam0-2200253 --450 001 9910994392603321 005 20250415123327.0 100 $a20250415d1876----kmuy0itay5050 ba 101 0 $aita 102 $aIT 105 $aa 001yy 200 1 $aAtmosfera$edescrizione dei grandi fenomeni della natura$fper Camillo Flammarion$gprima versione italiana sulla seconda francese per cura di C.
