China's media has played a crucial role in shaping and directing the country's social and cultural changes, and whilst these shifts have often been discussed as a single and coherent phenomenon, this ignores the vast array of local and regional variations within the country's borders. This book explores media as both a reflection of the diversity within China and as an active agent behind these 410 0$aRoutledge Contemporary China Series 606 $aMass media$xSocial aspects$zChina 606 $aMass media$xPolitical aspects$zChina 606 $aMass media and culture$zChina 615 0$aMass media$xSocial aspects 615 0$aMass media$xPolitical aspects 615 0$aMass media and culture 676 $a302.230951 701 $aChio$b Jenny$0913871 701 $aSun$b Wanning$f1963-$01593626 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910974589503321 996 $aMapping media in China$94498230 997 $aUNINA LEADER 03277nam 2200625 a 450 001 9910954349303321 005 20251116203057.0 010 $a1-281-39859-4 010 $a9786611398590 010 $a90-474-0941-8 024 7 $a10.1163/9789047409410 035 $a(CKB)1000000000405803 035 $a(OCoLC)290588996 035 $a(CaPaEBR)ebrary10235038 035 $a(SSID)ssj0000127418 035 $a(PQKBManifestationID)11133608 035 $a(PQKBTitleCode)TC0000127418 035 $a(PQKBWorkID)10074185 035 $a(PQKB)10180209 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC3004241 035 $a(nllekb)BRILL9789047409410 035 $a(Au-PeEL)EBL3004241 035 $a(CaPaEBR)ebr10235038 035 $a(CaONFJC)MIL139859 035 $a(OCoLC)923614225 035 $a(PPN)184938899 035 $a(EXLCZ)991000000000405803 100 $a20060712d2006 uy 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurcn||||||||| 181 $ctxt 182 $cc 183 $acr 200 10$aCompositional strategy of the book of Judges $ean inductive, rhetorical study /$fby Gregory T.K. As possible rhetorical links connecting Judges' prologue (1:1-2:5), epilogue (17:1-21:25), and central section (2:6-16:31) are examined in detail and the implications of such links carefully considered, the author concludes that, contrary to the consensus view that sees the central section of Judges as a part of Deuteronomistic History and the prologue and epilogue as later additions, the book in its current form may have been a unified composition of a single creative author. If so, not only does this have significant implications for the validity of the Deuteronomistic History Hypothesis, a new possibility also emerges which sees the interpretive key to the book as residing in the prologue and epilogue rather than the central section. 410 0$aSupplements to Vetus Testamentum ;$vv. 111. 606 $aRhetoric in the Bible 615 0$aRhetoric in the Bible. 676 $a222/.32066 700 $aWong$b Gregory T.
