The seventeen papers included here, written by some of the leading scholars of this period, reflect the three main areas of Fletcher?s scholarly endeavours: Church and society in medieval Spain; Christian-Muslim relations, both in the Iberian peninsula and further afield; and the history of the post-Roman world, with particular reference to the conversion of Europe. Contributors are James Campbell, Roger Collins, Judith McClure, Edward James, Roger Wright, Ann Christys, Bernard F. Reilly, Christopher Tyerman, Simon Barton, John Williams, James D'Emilio, Emma Falque, Peter Linehan, Peter Biller, Ian Michael, Esther Pascua, John Edwards, and Ian Wood. 410 0$aMedieval Mediterranean ;$vv. 73. 606 $aChurch history$yMiddle Ages, 600-1500 607 $aSpain$xChurch history 615 0$aChurch history 676 $a274.6/03 701 $aFletcher$b R. The author was the first to fabricate nanoporous copper with tunable nanoporosity and apply it for organic reactions. The catalyst can be reused up to ten times without loss of catalytic activity. In addition, the author developed the highly selective semihydrogenation of alkynes using nanoporous gold as a catalyst for the first time, affording Z-alkenes in 100% selectivity, which cannot be realized by traditional catalysts. All of the results described here will help readers to develop new catalytic performance of nanoporous metals for organic reactions. 410 0$aSpringer Theses, Recognizing Outstanding Ph.D. Research,$x2190-5053 606 $aOrganometallic chemistry 606 $aCatalysis 606 $aOrganometallic Chemistry$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/C19020 606 $aCatalysis$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/C29000 615 0$aOrganometallic chemistry. 615 0$aCatalysis. 615 14$aOrganometallic Chemistry. 615 24$aCatalysis. 676 $a547.0078 700 $aYan$b Mei$4aut$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/aut$01065308 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910298656203321 996 $aDevelopment of New Catalytic Performance of Nanoporous Metals for Organic Reactions$92544450 997 $aUNINA
