In more than one-third of these households, the food intake of some household members was reduced and normal eating patterns were disrupted due to limited resources. The Workshop on Understanding the Relationship Between Food Insecurity and Obesity was held to explore the biological, economic, psychosocial, and other factors that may influence the relationship between food insecurity, overweight, and obesity in the United States. This report examines current concepts and research findings in the field. It identifies information gaps, proposes alternative approaches to analyzing data, recommends new data that should be collected, and addresses the limitations of the available research. 606 $aObesity 606 $aNutrition disorders 615 0$aObesity. 615 0$aNutrition disorders. 676 $a362.196/398 701 $aTroy$b Lisa M$01200044 701 $aMiller$b Emily Ann$01812459 701 $aOlson$b Steve$f1956-$0488724 712 02$aNational Research Council (U.S.).$bFood and Nutrition Board. 712 12$aWorkshop on Understanding the Relationship Between Food Insecurity and Obesity 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910973894703321 996 $aHunger and obesity$94364890 997 $aUNINA
