The workshop used a socio-ecological developmental model to explore health equity of children and families, including those with complex needs and chronic conditions. Particular attention was paid to challenges experienced by children and families in both rural and urban contexts, to include but not limited to poverty, individual and institutional racism, low-resourced communities, and hindered access to educational and health care services. Workshop participants also engaged in solution-oriented discussions of initiatives, policies, and programs that aim to improve social determinants of health, opportunities for behavioral health promotion, and access to quality services that address the behavioral health of all children and families. This publication summarizes the presentations and discussion of the event"--$cPublisher's description. 606 $aCommunity mental health services$zUnited States$vCongresses 606 $aChild mental health services$zUnited States$vCongresses 606 $aTeenagers$xMental health services$zUnited States$vCongresses 606 $aFamilies$xMental health services$zUnited States$vCongresses 606 $aHealth services accessibility$zUnited States$vCongresses 607 $aUnited States 607 $aUnited States$2fast 608 $aConference papers and proceedings.$2fast 608 $aConference papers and proceedings.$2lcgft 615 0$aCommunity mental health services 615 0$aChild mental health services 615 0$aTeenagers$xMental health services 615 0$aFamilies$xMental health services 615 0$aHealth services accessibility 676 $a362.20973 701 $aKellogg$b Erin$01851971 701 $aSanchez$b Clarissa E$01851972 701 $aKeenan$b Wendy$01851973 702 $aTracey$b Sarah M 712 02$aNational Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (U.S.).$bForum for Children's Well-Being: Promoting Cognitive, Affective, and Behavioral Health for Children and Youth, 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910971662703321 996 $aAchieving behavioral health equity for children, families, and communities$94446488 997 $aUNINA
