Using the methodology of corpus linguistics, and a specially compiled corpus of texts, covering a range of genres, this book describes the current discourse of EU French from the perspective of phraseology and collocational patterning, and in particular in comparison with its French national counterpart. Corpus methodology and an inclusive notion of phraseology, embracing typical formulae, locutions , and patterning around keywords, reveal subtleties and patterns which otherwise remain hidden, and point to a discourse of EU French whose novel context of production has led it to be phraseologically conservative, compared with the administrative French of France. 410 0$aLanguage and Computers$v57. 606 $aFrench language$xPhraseology$xData processing 606 $aFrench language$xDiscourse analysis$xData processing 606 $aFrench language$xSemantics 606 $aComputational linguistics$xMethodology 607 $aFrance$xAdministrative and political codes$xData processing 615 0$aFrench language$xPhraseology$xData processing. 615 0$aFrench language$xDiscourse analysis$xData processing. 615 0$aFrench language$xSemantics. 615 0$aComputational linguistics$xMethodology. 676 $a445 700 $aAnderson$b Wendy J$01786899 712 02$aEbooks Corporation. 801 0$bNL-LeKB 801 1$bNL-LeKB 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910969501703321 996 $aThe Phraseology of Administrative French$94319284 997 $aUNINA LEADER 03692nam 22007215 450 001 9910502641303321 005 20250515150254.0 010 $a981-16-2289-2 024 7 $a10.1007/978-981-16-2289-2 035 $a(CKB)4100000012036798 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC6734402 035 $a(Au-PeEL)EBL6734402 035 $a(OCoLC)1269481644 035 $a(PPN)258054360 035 $a(DE-He213)978-981-16-2289-2 035 $a(EXLCZ)994100000012036798 100 $a20210925d2021 u| 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurcnu|||||||| 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 10$aModern Nuclear Physics $eFrom Fundamentals to Frontiers /$fby Alexandre Obertelli, Hiroyuki Sagawa 205 $a1st ed. 2021. 210 1$aSingapore :$cSpringer Nature Singapore :$cImprint: Springer,$d2021. 215 $a1 online resource (739 pages) 225 1 $aUNITEXT for Physics,$x2198-7890 311 08$a981-16-2288-4 327 $aConcepts of Quantum Mechanics from the Nuclear Viewpoint -- Nuclear Forces -- Nuclear Structure Theory -- Nuclear Structure Phenomena and Observables -- Radioactive Ion Beam Physics -- Deformation and Rotation -- Nuclear Reactions -- Celestial Observables and Terrestrial Experiments -- Nuclear Physics and the Standard Model of Elementary Particles. 330 $aThis textbook is a unique and ambitious primer of nuclear physics, which introduces recent theoretical and experimental progresses starting from basics in fundamental quantum mechanics. The highlight is to offer an overview of nuclear structure phenomena relevant to recent key findings such as unstable halo nuclei, superheavy elements, neutron stars, nucleosynthesis, the standard model, lattice quantum chromodynamics (LQCD), and chiral effective theory. An additional attraction is that general properties of nuclei are comprehensively explained from both the theoretical and experimental viewpoints. The book begins with the conceptual and mathematical basics of quantum mechanics, and goes into the main point of nuclear physics ? nuclear structure, radioactive ion beam physics, and nuclear reactions. The last chapters devote interdisciplinary topics in association with astrophysics and particle physics. A number of illustrations and exercises with complete solutions are given. Each chapter is comprehensively written starting from fundamentals to gradually reach modern aspects of nuclear physics with the objective to provide an effective description of the cutting edge in the field. 410 0$aUNITEXT for Physics,$x2198-7890 606 $aNuclear physics 606 $aParticle accelerators 606 $aParticles (Nuclear physics) 606 $aQuantum field theory 606 $aNuclear fusion 606 $aAstrophysics 606 $aNuclear Physics 606 $aAccelerator Physics 606 $aElementary Particles, Quantum Field Theory 606 $aNuclear Fusion 606 $aAstrophysics 615 0$aNuclear physics. 615 0$aParticle accelerators. 615 0$aParticles (Nuclear physics) 615 0$aQuantum field theory. 615 0$aNuclear fusion. 615 0$aAstrophysics. 615 14$aNuclear Physics. 615 24$aAccelerator Physics. 615 24$aElementary Particles, Quantum Field Theory. 615 24$aNuclear Fusion. 615 24$aAstrophysics. 676 $a539.7 700 $aObertelli$b Alexandre$01071933 702 $aSagawa$b Hiroyuki 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910502641303321 996 $aModern nuclear physics$92884994 997 $aUNINA
