Since then, many significant implementations have been made to model genetic effects. However, at the verge of one century after Fisher?s kick-off, models of genetic effects keep on being discussed and implemented. Indeed, the relatively recent advent of QTL analyses challenged the state of the art of this field by providing researchers the opportunity to obtain and analyse estimates of genetic effects from real data. In this context, the development of this field was not exempt of some polemics, like the debate about the convenience of the functional and the statistical epistasis approaches. This research topic is meant to provide recent developments in models of genetic effects and to enrich the discussion about how and why models of genetic effects must be further developed and applied. 606 $aGenetics$2HILCC 606 $aBiology$2HILCC 606 $aHealth & Biological Sciences$2HILCC 610 $asimulation studies 610 $aHost-Pathogen Interactions 610 $astatistical estimation 610 $aGenetic architecture 610 $amathematical modelling 610 $aimprinting 610 $agene-by-environment interactions 610 $agene mapping 610 $aEpistasis 610 $aGenetic Effects 615 7$aGenetics 615 7$aBiology 615 7$aHealth & Biological Sciences 700 $aRong-Cai Yang$4auth$01366250 702 $aÁlvarez-Castro$b José M 702 $aYang$b Rong-Cai 801 0$bPQKB 801 2$bUkMaJRU 912 $a9910136277803321 996 $aModels and estimation of genetic effects$93388734 997 $aUNINA LEADER 04416nam 22009133u 450 001 9910966090203321 005 20251117082724.0 010 $a0-203-83662-6 010 $a1-283-10475-X 010 $a9786613104755 010 $a0-203-83259-0 035 $a(CKB)2550000000032454 035 $a(EBL)668758 035 $a(OCoLC)712039518 035 $a(SSID)ssj0000469788 035 $a(PQKBManifestationID)11321058 035 $a(PQKBTitleCode)TC0000469788 035 $a(PQKBWorkID)10530979 035 $a(PQKB)10467371 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC668758 035 $a(EXLCZ)992550000000032454 100 $a20130418d2011|||| u|| | 101 0 $aeng 135 $aur|n|---||||| 181 $ctxt 182 $cc 183 $acr 200 10$aHandbook of Clinical Issues in Couple Therapy 205 $a2nd ed. 210 $aHoboken $cTaylor and Francis$d2011 215 $a1 online resource (373 p.) 300 $aDescription based upon print version of record. 311 08$a1-136-83742-6 311 08$a0-415-80475-2 327 $aCover; Handbook of Clinical issues in Couple Therapy; Copyright; Contents; Acknowledgments; Editor; Contributors; Introduction; Chapter 1:The State of Couple Therapy; Part I:Biological and Physiological Issues; Chapter 2:Brain Biology and Couple Therapy; Chapter 3: Couple Therapy in the Presence of Mental Disorders; Chapter 4: What's Love Got to Do With It?; Chapter 5: Couples Therapy and Addictions; Chapter 6: Current State of Sexuality Theory and Therapy; Part II: Traumatic Issues; Chapter 7: Conjoint Couples Treatment and Intimate Partner Violence 327 $aChapter 8: Trauma and Recovery in Couple TherapyChapter 9: The Field of Infidelity; Part III: Divorce and Remarital Issues; Chapter 10: Divorce Therapy; Chapter 11: Remarital Issues in Couple Therapy; Part IV: Sociological Issues; Chapter 12: Awareness of Culture: Clinical Implications for Couple Therapy; Chapter 13: Fostering Strength and Resiliency in Same-Sex Couples; Chapter 14: Couple Therapy and the Integration of Spirituality and Religion; Chapter 15: Feminist Couple Therapy; Part V: Primary Prevention Issues; Chapter 16: One Size Does Not Fit All; Chapter 17: Premarital Counseling 327 $aPart VI: Training IssuesChapter 18: What Is Unique About Supervising Couple Therapists; Index 330 $aNow updated in its second edition, Handbook of Clinical Issues in Couple Therapy provides a comprehensive overview of emerging issues that impact couple therapy.
