It is a promising technique for offloading local traffic from cellular base stations by allowing local devices, in physical proximity, to communicate directly with each other. Furthermore, through relaying, D2D is also a promising approach to enhancing service coverage at cell edges or in black spots. However, there are many challenges to realizing the full benefits of D2D. For one, minimizing the interference between legacy cellular and D2D users operating in underlay mode is still an active research issue. With the 5th generation (5G) communication systems expected to be the main data carrier for the Internet-of-Things (IoT) paradigm, the potential role of D2D and its scalability to support massive IoT devices and their machine-centric (as opposed to human-centric) communications need to be investigated. New challenges have also arisen from new enabling technologies for D2D communications, such as non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) and blockchain technologies, which call for new solutions to be proposed. This edited book presents a collection of ten chapters, including one review and nine original research works on addressing many of the aforementioned challenges and beyond. 606 $aMobile communication systems 615 0$aMobile communication systems. 676 $a621.38456 702 $aChong$b Peter Han Joo 702 $aHasan$b Syed Faraz 702 $aSeet$b Boon-Chong 801 0$bNjHacI 801 1$bNjHacl 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910688582703321 996 $aRecent Advances in Cellular D2D Communications$92949019 997 $aUNINA LEADER 03040oam 2200649M 450 001 9910965383003321 005 20251117110317.0 010 $a1-135-62461-5 010 $a1-135-62454-2 010 $a1-315-05117-6 024 7 $a10.4324/9781315051178 035 $a(CKB)2670000000518822 035 $a(EBL)1619304 035 $a(SSID)ssj0001173794 035 $a(PQKBManifestationID)11620677 035 $a(PQKBTitleCode)TC0001173794 035 $a(PQKBWorkID)11105749 035 $a(PQKB)11259532 035 $a(OCoLC)874175441 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC1619304 035 $a(OCoLC)897454390 035 $a(OCoLC)1100436992 035 $a(OCoLC-P)1100436992 035 $a(FlBoTFG)9781315051178 035 $a(EXLCZ)992670000000518822 100 $a20180603d1998 my 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aur||||||||||| 181 $ctxt 182 $cc 183 $acr 200 00$aMasses by Giovanni Andrea Florimi, Giovanni Francesco Mognossa, and Bonifazio Graziani /$fedited by Anne Schnoebelen 205 $a1st edition. 210 1$aLondon :$cRoutledge,$d1998. 215 $a1 online resource (322 p.) 225 0 $aSeventeenth-century Italian sacred music 300 $aFor 4-5 voices with organ continuo; the 1st work also with 2 violins. 300 $aFigured bass unrealized. 300 $aFirst published 1998 by Garland Publishing, Inc. 311 08$a0-8153-2414-6 320 $aIncludes bibliographical references. 327 $aCover; Title Page; Copyright Page; Table of Contents; General Introduction; Editorial Methods; Introduction to This Volume; Giovanni Andrea Florimi, "Messa a? 5 voci concertata con violini detta Protector meus" from Messe a? 5 voci concertate con violini (Venice: Francesco Magni detto Gardano, 1668); 1.
