Europe and Israel. during the last two decades. The purpose of the book is to introduce the fundamentals and applications of optimum structural design. Much work has been done in this area recently and many studies have been published. The book is an attempt to collect together selected topics of this literature and to present them in a unified approach. It meets the need for an introductory text covering the basic concepts of modem structural optimization. A previous book by the author on this subject ("Optimum Structural Design". published by McGraw-Hill New York in 1981 and by Maruzen Tokyo in 1983). has been used extensively as a text in many universities throughout the world. The present book reflects the rapid progress and recent developments in this area. A major difficulty in studying structural optimization is that integration of concepts used in several areas. such as structural analysis. numerical optimization and engineering design. is necessary in order to solve a specific problem. To facilitate the study of these topics. the book discusses in detail alternative problem formulations. the fundamentals of different optimization methods and various considerations related to structural design. The advantages and the limitations of the presented approaches are illustrated by numerous examples. 606 $aBuildings$xDesign and construction 606 $aCivil engineering 606 $aEngineering mathematics 606 $aEngineering$xData processing 606 $aBuilding Construction and Design 606 $aCivil Engineering 606 $aMathematical and Computational Engineering Applications 615 0$aBuildings$xDesign and construction. 615 0$aCivil engineering. 615 0$aEngineering mathematics. 615 0$aEngineering$xData processing. 615 14$aBuilding Construction and Design. 615 24$aCivil Engineering. 615 24$aMathematical and Computational Engineering Applications. 676 $a624.1/7 700 $aKirsch$b Uri$4aut$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/aut$01846797 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910964094603321 996 $aStructural Optimization$94431588 997 $aUNINA LEADER 03185nam 22005292 450 001 9911018866603321 005 20251019235412.0 010 $a90-04-73691-3 024 7 $a10.1163/9789004736917 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC32206286 035 $a(Au-PeEL)EBL32206286 035 $a(CKB)39625839400041 035 $a(OCoLC)1528358982 035 $a(nllekb)BRILL9789004736917 035 $a(EXLCZ)9939625839400041 100 $a20250606d2025 uy 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurcnu|||||||| 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 14$aThe Euthalian Tradition of the New Testament: A Catalogue of Greek Manuscripts /$fGarrick V. This book catalogues the extent of the Euthalian tradition, introducing these features, pointing to their significance for research on the New Testament, and mapping their distribution in manuscripts produced from the sixth century onward. This catalogue is a tool for further research on the New Testament?s Greek manuscripts, reception history, and intellectual context. 410 0$aBiblical Studies, Ancient Near East and Early Christianity E-Books Online, Collection 2025. 410 0$aNew Testament Tools, Studies and Documents ;$v67. 606 $aHistory 615 0$aHistory. 676 $a220.4/2 700 $aAllen$b Garrick V.$01217035 702 $aFowler$b Kimberley A. 702 $aScieri$b Emanuele 702 $aVenetskov$b Maxim 801 0$bNL-LeKB 801 1$bNL-LeKB 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9911018866603321 996 $aThe Euthalian Tradition of the New Testament: A Catalogue of Greek Manuscripts$94421229 997 $aUNINA
