In this chapter we first provide a short description of the state-of-the-art models and methods used for modelling molten salts at the atomic scale. In particular, we discuss the importance of polarization effects for obtaining accurate results. We then give some examples of the structure of several molten salts, as yielded by the simulations. We finish by describing how the transport properties, which encompass the diffusion coefficients, electrical conductivities, viscosities and thermal conductivities, are computed. By comparing the values given by the simulations to reference experimental data, we show that this technique can now be considered as highly predictive"--$cProvided by publisher. 606 $aFused salts$xAnalysis 608 $aElectronic books. 615 0$aFused salts$xAnalysis. 676 $a546/.34 701 $aLantelme$b Frederic$0859431 701 $aGroult$b Henri$0859432 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910452599503321 996 $aMolten salts chemistry$91917987 997 $aUNINA LEADER 06604oam 2200541I 450 001 9910963550603321 005 20251117103616.0 010 $a1-315-36596-0 010 $a1-77188-450-9 010 $a1-315-34174-3 024 7 $a10.1201/9781315365961 035 $a(CKB)3840000000340727 035 $a(Au-PeEL)EBL5254431 035 $a(CaPaEBR)ebr11505061 035 $a(OCoLC)1004770110 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC5254431 035 $a(FINmELB)ELB141951 035 $a(EXLCZ)993840000000340727 100 $a20180706d2017 uy 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurcnu|||||||| 181 $2rdacontent 182 $2rdamedia 183 $2rdacarrier 200 00$aBioresources technology in sustainable agriculture $ebiological and biochemical research /$feditors, Mohamad Faiz Foong Abdullah, DPhil, Mohd Tajudin Bin Mohd Ali, PhD, Farida Zuraina M.
