However, each of these channels designates a submissive position to ethnic citizenship. Amidst theoretical uncertainty on how the state has affected local communities, ethnic minorities can develop subjectivity. Through this, they can sincerely participate in the state's policy agenda, conveniently incorporate the state into the ethnic identity, give feedback to the state within the framework of official discourse, or hide behind the state to evade ethnic identification. Rather than finding a life outside the state, the ethnic communities can, in one way or another, position themselves inside the state. 606 $aAsia$xPolitics and government 606 $aInternational economic relations 606 $aEconomic policy 606 $aPolitical sociology 606 $aPolitical science 606 $aEconomic development 606 $aAsian Politics 606 $aInternational Political Economy' 606 $aEconomic Policy 606 $aPolitical Sociology 606 $aPolitical Science 606 $aDevelopment Studies 615 0$aAsia$xPolitics and government. 615 0$aInternational economic relations. 615 0$aEconomic policy. 615 0$aPolitical sociology. 615 0$aPolitical science. 615 0$aEconomic development. 615 14$aAsian Politics. 615 24$aInternational Political Economy'. 615 24$aEconomic Policy. 615 24$aPolitical Sociology. 615 24$aPolitical Science. 615 24$aDevelopment Studies. 676 $a323.151 676 $a951/.306 700 $aShi$b Zhiyu$f1958-$01660426 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910961800103321 996 $aAutonomy, Ethnicity, and Poverty in Southwestern China$94330208 997 $aUNINA
