A few paradigms are discussed where this correlation would explain otherwise peculiar properties, concerning subtle details in the referentiality of clitic arguments and the aspectual properties of the event where they are taken to participate. In the process, the semantic nature of clitic doubling is shifted from the domain of the obscure or pleonastic to that of integral relations. The paper closes with a syntactic puzzle that the hypothesized correlation poses. 410 0$aLinguistik aktuell ;$vBd. 36. 606 $aGrammar, Comparative and general$xClitics$vCongresses 615 0$aGrammar, Comparative and general$xClitics 676 $a415 701 $aGerlach$b Birgit$01801183 701 $aGrijzenhout$b Janet$01801955 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910960060203321 996 $aClitics in phonology, morphology and syntax$94347457 997 $aUNINA LEADER 06548nam 2200697Ia 450 001 9910971075703321 005 20251116210057.0 010 $a1-61728-524-2 035 $a(CKB)2560000000015794 035 $a(EBL)3018029 035 $a(SSID)ssj0000420674 035 $a(PQKBManifestationID)11264862 035 $a(PQKBTitleCode)TC0000420674 035 $a(PQKBWorkID)10393299 035 $a(PQKB)11346711 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC3018029 035 $a(Au-PeEL)EBL3018029 035 $a(CaPaEBR)ebr10658951 035 $a(OCoLC)923654766 035 $a(BIP)33698074 035 $a(BIP)26724959 035 $a(EXLCZ)992560000000015794 100 $a20090302d2009 uy 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aur|n|---||||| 181 $ctxt 182 $cc 183 $acr 200 10$aIntegrated water resource management in the Kurdistan region /$fAlmas Heshmati 205 $a1st ed. 210 $aNew York $cNova Science$dc2009 215 $a1 online resource (251 p.) 225 0 $aWater resource planning, development and management series 300 $aDescription based upon print version of record. 311 08$a1-60741-295-0 320 $aIncludes bibliographical references and index. 327 $a""INTEGRATED WATER RESOURCES MANAGEMENT IN THE KURDISTAN REGION""; ""CONTENTS""; ""PREFACE""; ""FOREWORD BY THE MINISTER OF WATER RESOURCES""; ""ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS""; ""ABBREVIATIONS""; ""INTRODUCTION AND BACKGROUND TO THE PROJECT""; ""1.1. The focus is on: a?e¢ making a comparative study of water resources between Iraq, its neighboring countries, MENA and the world averages, a?e¢ conducting a sector analysis to identify and quantify available water resources, the needs and sub-optimality in their uses, a?e¢ analyzing current allocation of water and quantifying and suggesting necessary reductions in wasteful use of water resources, a?e¢ designing water policies and suggesting measures that improve regional water planning and management practices, a?e¢ developing techniques and models in the projection of demand, supply and future utilization patterns and quantification of the water gap, a?e¢ suggesting alternatives for provision of water to areas facing scarcity on the basis of sustainable long-term and minimum cost solutions, a?e¢ suggesting necessary mechanisms for approaching interstate cooperation and for participating in the building of interregional institutions, a?e¢ proposing economically and environmentally optimal practices for within region and interstate cooperation and resource management, and a?e¢ suggesting opportunities for increased government investment in the development and management of the water market. 410 0$aWater Resource Planning, Development and Management 606 $aWater-supply$zKurdistan$xManagement 606 $aWater$xPurification$zKurdistan 606 $aWater$xGovernment policy 606 $aIntegrated water development$zKurdistan 615 0$aWater-supply$xManagement. 615 0$aWater$xPurification 615 0$aWater$xGovernment policy. 615 0$aIntegrated water development 676 $a363.6/1095667 700 $aHeshmati$b Almas$0803496 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910971075703321 996 $aIntegrated water resource management in the Kurdistan region$94467245 997 $aUNINA
