It offers helpful guidance on how to decide which strategies to apply in different areas of real-world problems, especially highlighting latest advancements in supply chain management, inventory control, environmental planning, and optimisation. All authors have extensive research experience in practical decision-making scenarios which serves as the foundation for contributing chapters. The book thus assists scientists, upcoming researchers, and businesspeople in understanding optimisation techniques for finding the optimal answer to decision-making problems. 410 0$aInventory Optimization,$x2730-9355 606 $aBusiness logistics 606 $aOperations research 606 $aBusiness enterprises$xFinance 606 $aMathematical optimization 606 $aSupply Chain Management 606 $aOperations Research and Decision Theory 606 $aLogistics 606 $aCorporate Finance 606 $aOptimization 615 0$aBusiness logistics. 615 0$aOperations research. 615 0$aBusiness enterprises$xFinance. 615 0$aMathematical optimization. 615 14$aSupply Chain Management. 615 24$aOperations Research and Decision Theory. 615 24$aLogistics. 615 24$aCorporate Finance. 615 24$aOptimization. 676 $a658.5 700 $aShaikh$b Ali Akbar$0781837 701 $aKonstantaras$b Ioannis$01781725 701 $aAli$b Irfan$01781726 701 $aTaleizadeh$b Ata Allah$01060297 701 $aShah$b Nita H$01730539 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910920445703321 996 $aSupply Chain Finance Modelling and Optimization$94306551 997 $aUNINA LEADER 05418nam 22007095 450 001 9910898595103321 005 20250626164304.0 010 $a9789819739332 010 $a9819739330 024 7 $a10.1007/978-981-97-3933-2 035 $a(CKB)36457096600041 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC31850606 035 $a(Au-PeEL)EBL31850606 035 $a(OCoLC)1472497087 035 $a(DE-He213)978-981-97-3933-2 035 $a(EXLCZ)9936457096600041 100 $a20241025d2025 u| 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aur||||||||||| 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 10$aEnvironmental Humanities in India /$fedited by Debajyoti Biswas, John C. The environmental humanities, often referred to as ?EH?, are a multifaceted, relatively new, and swiftly evolving field of scholarship that integrates the theories and approaches of various disciplines - from anthropology, art, communications, cultural studies, philosophy and ecology to history, literature, media, music, performance, politics, sociology, theology and theater. Practitioners of this considerably integrative and widely ranging field aim to address and, in certain cases, confront today's urgent ecological and cultural challenges, namely climate change, urban sustainability, biodiversity conservation, species decline, energy policy, the exigencies of the Anthropocene, environmental activism, and Indigenous peoples' justice. Although the environmental humanities have been relatively slow to gain traction in South Asia, an increasing momentum towards transdisciplinary approaches to ecology and sustainability is palpable in India. Comprising fourteen chapters, this contributed volume is the first major publication to call attention to current work in the environmental humanities in India. The volume foregrounds particular ecohumanist theories and methodologies evolving from Indian biocultural contexts. Towards this aim, the book consists of four thematic sections: Indigenous Perspectives: Conservation, Spirituality, and Language; Theoretical Grounding: Education, Law, and Ethics; Literary Formulations: Memoir, Parable, and Storyworlds; and Popular Narratives: Myth, Travel, and Music. The volume is of interest to undergraduates, postgraduates, early career scholars, and more established researchers in the environmental humanities and the allied fields of ecopoetics, ecocriticism, ecomusicology, environmental art, cultural ecology, postcolonial studies, and South Asian studies.
