Tsirelson. The basic construction should be accessible to graduate students of functional analysis with a knowledge of the theory of Schauder bases, while topics of a more advanced nature are presented for the specialist. Bounded linear operators are studied through the use of finite-dimensional decompositions, and complemented subspaces are studied at length. A myriad of variant constructions are presented and explored, while open questions are broached in almost every chapter. Two appendices are attached: one dealing with a computer program which computes norms of finitely-supported vectors, while the other surveys recent work on weak Hilbert spaces (where a Tsirelson-type space provides an example). 410 0$aLecture Notes in Mathematics,$x0075-8434 ;$v1363 606 $aMathematics 606 $aBanach spaces 606 $aGlobal analysis (Mathematics) 615 0$aMathematics. 615 0$aBanach spaces. 615 0$aGlobal analysis (Mathematics) 676 $a515.732 700 $aCasazza$b Peter G.$f1945-$055468 702 $aShura$b Thaddeus J.$f1947- 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a996466651203316 996 $aTsirelson's space$9262239 997 $aUNISA LEADER 03773nam 22006135 450 001 9910918596503321 005 20250808085351.0 010 $a9783031686986$b(electronic bk.) 010 $z9783031686979 024 7 $a10.1007/978-3-031-68698-6 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC31855408 035 $a(Au-PeEL)EBL31855408 035 $a(CKB)37065139500041 035 $a(OCoLC)1482266814 035 $a(DE-He213)978-3-031-68698-6 035 $a(EXLCZ)9937065139500041 100 $a20241220d2024 u| 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurcnu|||||||| 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 10$aValues of Love and Ethical Reflection /$fby Edmund Husserl ; edited by Sara Heinämaa, Anthony J. Texts in this series draw from the variety of Husserl?s rich original works; they are selected and arranged with the support of the Husserl Archives, Leuven. The texts are made available in English and are primarily targeted to advanced undergraduates, graduate students, and scholars. This volume helps the reader both to investigate the themes of value and love and to gauge their role in Husserl?s reflections on related topics: his analysis of philosophy, the sciences as vocational tasks, the emotions and the community of love, as well as his personalistic reformulation of the categorical imperative. The texts gathered, edited, and translated in this volume have far-reaching implications, ranging from axiology and individual and social ethics to the philosophy of emotions, action theory, and the philosophy of science. 410 0$aHusserlian Legacies: Themes for the 21st Century,$x2731-3158 606 $aPhenomenology 606 $aNormativity (Ethics) 606 $aScience$xPhilosophy 606 $aPhenomenology 606 $aNormative Ethics 606 $aPhilosophy of Science 615 0$aPhenomenology. 615 0$aNormativity (Ethics) 615 0$aScience$xPhilosophy. 615 14$aPhenomenology. 615 24$aNormative Ethics. 615 24$aPhilosophy of Science. 676 $a142.7 700 $aHusserl$b Edmund$035554 701 $aHeinämaa$b Sara$01780964 701 $aSteinbock$b Anthony J$0188180 701 $aBarrette$b Andrew$01830211 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 912 $a9910918596503321 996 $aValues of Love and Ethical Reflection$94400501 997 $aUNINA
