This was the case of optimal transportation techniques: these techniques were first developed for transportation problems, but now they have been shown to be successful in many statistical applications, including applications to economics. These techniques are the main focus of this book, but this book also contain papers that use other techniques, ranging from more traditional statistical approaches to more recent ones such as stochastic frontier methods, multivariable quantiles, random forest, and deep learning. Applications include all aspects of economics, from production (including agricultural) to trade (including international) and finances, with relation to issues of crime (including computer crime and cyberbullying), demographics, economic freedom, environment, health, and tourism. We hope that this volume will: help practitioners to become better knowledgeable of the state-of-the-art econometric techniques, especially optimal transport techniques, and help researchers to further develop these important research directions. We want to thank all the authors for their contributions and all anonymous referees for their thorough analysis and helpful comments. The publication of this volume was partly supported by the Faculty of Economics of the Chiang Mai University, Thailand. Our thanks to the leadership and staff of the Chiang Mai University for providing crucial support. Our special thanks to Prof. Hung T. Nguyen for his valuable advice and constant support. 410 0$aStudies in Systems, Decision and Control,$x2198-4190 ;$v556 606 $aTransportation engineering 606 $aTraffic engineering 606 $aEngineering mathematics 606 $aEngineering$xData processing 606 $aStatistics 606 $aStochastic models 606 $aTransportation Technology and Traffic Engineering 606 $aMathematical and Computational Engineering Applications 606 $aStatistics in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Chemistry and Earth Sciences 606 $aStochastic Modelling in Statistics 615 0$aTransportation engineering. 615 0$aTraffic engineering. 615 0$aEngineering mathematics. 615 0$aEngineering$xData processing. 615 0$aStatistics. 615 0$aStochastic models. 615 14$aTransportation Technology and Traffic Engineering. 615 24$aMathematical and Computational Engineering Applications. 615 24$aStatistics in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Chemistry and Earth Sciences. 615 24$aStochastic Modelling in Statistics. 676 $a330.015195 700 $aKreinovich$b Vladik$0117742 701 $aWoraphon Yamaka$01859647 701 $aLeurcharusmee$b Supanika$01775160 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910906299203321 996 $aApplications of Optimal Transport to Economics and Related Topics$94463721 997 $aUNINA LEADER 02797oam 2200445 c 450 001 9910563154803321 005 20251202090341.0 024 8 $ahttps://doi.org/10.3278/9783763970919 035 $a(CKB)5680000000036123 035 $a(ScCtBLL)b33f8a37-298e-4276-9a05-a48d4f89c564 035 $a(wbv Publikation)9783763970919 035 $a(EXLCZ)995680000000036123 100 $a20251202d2022 uy 0 101 0 $ager 135 $auru|||||||||| 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 10$aIntegrationsperspektive duales System? 410 $aBerufsbildung, Arbeit und Innovation - Dissertationen und Habilitationen 606 $aGelingensbedingungen; Gelingensprozess; duale Ausbildung; betriebliche Ausbildung; Integration; Geflüchtete; Migration; Betrieb; Unternehmen; Gatekeeper; Teilhabe; Migration; Mayring; qualitative Inhaltsanalyse; Unternehmen; Best Practice; Betrieb; Integrationsfähigkeit; rechtliche Rahmenbedingungen 615 4$aGelingensbedingungen; Gelingensprozess; duale Ausbildung; betriebliche Ausbildung; Integration; Geflüchtete; Migration; Betrieb; Unternehmen; Gatekeeper; Teilhabe; Migration; Mayring; qualitative Inhaltsanalyse; Unternehmen; Best Practice; Betrieb; Integrationsfähigkeit; rechtliche Rahmenbedingungen 700 $aScheiermann$b Gero$cHerr$4aut$01835890 702 $aFriese$b Marianne$4edt 702 $aJenewein$b Klaus$4edt 702 $aSeeber$b Susan$4edt 702 $aWindelband$b Lars$cHerr Prof. Dr.$4edt 801 0$bScCtBLL 801 1$bScCtBLL 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910563154803321 996 $aIntegrationsperspektive duales System$94413406 997 $aUNINA
