CONCLUDING REMARKS""; ""REFERENCES"" 330 3 $aOver the last 15 years, the reforms of employment protection legislation (EPL) in European countries have mainly eased hiring and firing restrictions for temporary employment while leaving the strict EPL provisions for regular or permanent contracts unchanged. Recent reforms in France follow this pattern. Using a search-matching model, we argue that this type of partial reform is inefficient: easing restrictions on temporary jobs fosters both job creation and job destruction, but strict EPL discourages both. The overall impact on equilibrium unemployment is thus ambiguous, depending on the characteristics of the specific labor market. Simulations of the model, calibrated for the French labor market, suggest that the job destruction effect is stronger, thus raising the unemployment rate. 410 0$aIMF Working Papers; Working Paper ;$vNo. 2006/108 606 $aLabor laws and legislation$zFrance$xEconometric models 606 $aIndustrial laws and legislation$zFrance 606 $aDemand and Supply of Labor: General$2imf 606 $aEmployment protection$2imf 606 $aIncome economics$2imf 606 $aJob creation$2imf 606 $aLabor Contracts$2imf 606 $aLabor Demand$2imf 606 $aLabor market$2imf 606 $aLabor markets$2imf 606 $aLabor$2imf 606 $aLabour$2imf 606 $aManpower policy$2imf 606 $aUnemployment rate$2imf 606 $aUnemployment$2imf 606 $aUnemployment: Models, Duration, Incidence, and Job Search$2imf 607 $aFrance$2imf 615 0$aLabor laws and legislation$xEconometric models. 615 0$aIndustrial laws and legislation 615 7$aDemand and Supply of Labor: General 615 7$aEmployment protection 615 7$aIncome economics 615 7$aJob creation 615 7$aLabor Contracts 615 7$aLabor Demand 615 7$aLabor market 615 7$aLabor markets 615 7$aLabor 615 7$aLabour 615 7$aManpower policy 615 7$aUnemployment rate 615 7$aUnemployment 615 7$aUnemployment: Models, Duration, Incidence, and Job Search 700 $aZhou$b Jianping$01804346 712 02$aInternational Monetary Fund.$bEuropean Dept. 801 0$bDcWaIMF 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910969923103321 996 $aReforming Employment Protection Legislation in France$94372504 997 $aUNINA LEADER 09286nam 22005895 450 001 9910865271203321 005 20250807132416.0 010 $a3-031-30518-3 024 7 $a10.1007/978-3-031-30518-4 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC31458378 035 $a(Au-PeEL)EBL31458378 035 $a(CKB)32245831700041 035 $a(DE-He213)978-3-031-30518-4 035 $a(OCoLC)1438665182 035 $a(EXLCZ)9932245831700041 100 $a20240605d2024 u| 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurcnu|||||||| 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 10$aOrthopaedics and Trauma $eCurrent Concepts and Best Practices /$fedited by Pablo Slullitel, Luciano Rossi, Gastón Camino-Willhuber 205 $a1st ed. 2024. 210 1$aCham :$cSpringer International Publishing :$cImprint: Springer,$d2024. 215 $a1 online resource (2176 pages) 311 08$a3-031-30520-5 311 08$a3-031-30517-5 327 $aVolume 1.-Trauma -- Part 1.General Topics -- Basic principles in the treatment of fractures -- Diaphyseal fractures -- Articular fractures -- Soft tissue injuries -- The Polytrauma Patient -- Open fractures -- Part 2.Upper Extermity Injuries -- Proximal humeral fractures -- Sequelae of Proximal Humeral Fractures -- Acromioclavicular Joint Injuries -- Scapular Fractures -- Clavicular Fractures -- Surgical Management of Humeral Shaft Fractures -- Distal Humerus Fractures -- Olecranon and Coronoid Process fractures -- Radial head fractures -- Elbow dislocations and fracture-dislocations (Elbow Terrible Triad) -- Radius and Ulnar Shaft Fractures -- Monteggia & Galeazzi Fracture-Dislocations & Essex-Lopresti Injuries -- Distal Radius and Ulna Fractures -- Injuries to the Distal Radioulnar Joint and Triangular Fibrocartilage -- Carpal Bone Fractures -- Wrist & Carpal Dislocations -- Metacarpal and phalangeal fractures and fracture-dislocations -- Base of Thumb Fractures -- Flexor and Extensor Tendon Injuries -- Acute Peripheral Nerve Injuries -- Fingertip Injuries & Finger Flaps -- Hand and finger replantation -- Thumb Reconstruction -- Traumatic Braquial Plexus Injuries -- Part 3.Lower Extremity Injuries -- Pelvic Ring Injuries: Principles of management in the acute and chronic setting -- Sacral fractures -- Acetabular fractures -- Femoral head fractures -- Intracapsular Hip Fractures -- Periprosthetic Hip Fractures -- Intertrochanteric fractures -- Subtrochanteric fractures -- Diaphyseal femur fractures -- Distal femur fractures -- Tibial Plateau fractures -- Peri-implant fractures -- Ankle fractures -- Talus Fractures -- Calcaneus Fractures -- Chopart?s Fracture-dislocation -- Lisfranc's Fracture-dislocation -- Forefoot Fractures -- Part 4.Spine Trauma -- Upper Cervical Fractures -- Subaxial Cervical fractures -- Thoracolumbar Fractures -- Osteoporotic Vertebral Fractures -- Post-traumatic Spinal Deformities -- Pathophysiology of Spinal Cord Injury -- 5.Pediatrics Trauma -- Supracondylar Fractures of the Humerus -- Pediatric Injuries about the knee -- Pediatric Spine Trauma -- Pediatric fracture of the forearm and wrist -- Volume 2. It's structured with several sub-headings, including bullet-point tips for basic concepts. Each chapter is focused on a specific pathology and includes the following sub-headings: short introduction, applied anatomy and physiology, prevalence, classification, diagnosis (including anamnesis, physical examination and complementary imaging, from plain x-ray to cross-sectional imaging), treatment (conservative-surgical options), controversies, complications, future directions and author?s preference for treatment apart from references. Orthopaedics and Trauma - Current Concepts will be an inspiration to the young orthopaedic resident, fellow or even general orthopaedic surgeon and senior medical student. It will definitely help with their careers and also be a useful tool to prepare for the board certified orthopaedic examination. 606 $aOrthopedics 606 $aOrthopedic surgery 606 $aRheumatology 606 $aOrthopaedics 606 $aSurgical Orthopedics 606 $aRheumatology 615 0$aOrthopedics. 615 0$aOrthopedic surgery. 615 0$aRheumatology. 615 14$aOrthopaedics. 615 24$aSurgical Orthopedics. 615 24$aRheumatology. 676 $a616.7 700 $aSlullitel$b Pablo$01742871 701 $aRossi$b Luciano$0175998 701 $aCamino-Willhuber$b Gastón$01742872 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910865271203321 996 $aOrthopaedics and Trauma$94169576 997 $aUNINA
