Absolutely, as this volume shows. Compared to other countries, research on antisemitism in the Nordic countries (Denmark, the Faroe Islands, Finland, Greenland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden) is marginalized at an institutional and staffing level, especially as far as antisemitism beyond German fascism, the Second World War, and the Holocaust is concerned. Furthermore, compared to scholarship on other prejudices and minority groups, issues concerning Jews and anti-Jewish stereotypes remain relatively underresearched in Scandinavia - even though antisemitic stereotypes have been present and flourishing in the North ever since the arrival of Christianity, and long before the arrival of the first Jewish communities. This volume aims to help bring the study of antisemitism to the fore, from the medieval period to the present day. Contributors from all the Nordic countries describe the status of as well as the challenges and desiderata for the study of antisemitism in their respective countries. 410 0$aReligious Minorities in the North 606 $aEuropean history$2bicssc 606 $aReligion: general$2bicssc 606 $aJewish studies$2bicssc 610 $aAnti-Semitism without Jews. 610 $aAntisemitism Studies. 610 $aNordic history. 615 7$aEuropean history 615 7$aReligion: general 615 7$aJewish studies 676 $a305.892/4048 686 $aMC 7400$2rvk 700 $aAdams$b Jonathan$4edt$0531270 702 $aAdams$b Jonathan$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aHeß$b Cordelia$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 801 0$bDE-B1597 801 1$bDE-B1597 906 $aBOOK 912 $a996318448503316 996 $aAntisemitism in the North$93584439 997 $aUNISA LEADER 02014nam 2200565 450 001 9910814306103321 005 20230126215607.0 010 $a1-4422-5228-6 035 $a(CKB)3710000000842399 035 $a(EBL)4659310 035 $a(OCoLC)948669353 035 $a(PQKBManifestationID)16432759 035 $a(PQKBWorkID)14966705 035 $a(PQKB)22596200 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC4659310 035 $a(DLC) 2016017848 035 $a(EXLCZ)993710000000842399 100 $a20160909h20162016 uy 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aur|n|---||||| 181 $ctxt 182 $cc 183 $acr 200 10$aDining with the rich and royal /$fFiona Ross 210 1$aLanham, [Maryland] :$cRowman & Littlefield,$d2016. 210 4$d©2016 215 $a1 online resource (357 p.) 225 0 $aDining with Destiny Series 300 $aDescription based upon print version of record. 311 $a1-4422-5227-8 320 $aIncludes bibliographical references and index. 330 $aFrom Antony and Cleopatra to Lady Diana, from Nero to Ari Onassis, this book explores the preferred dishes of the rich and royal, allowing us a seat at the tables of the upper crust, who transform our world, for better or for worse. The level of mathematical expertise required is limited to differential and matrix calculus. The various stages necessary for the implementation of the method are clearly identified, with a chapter given over to each one: approximation, construction of the integral forms, matrix organization, solution of the algebraic systems and architecture o 410 0$aISTE 606 $aFinite element method 615 0$aFinite element method. 676 $a518.25 700 $aDhatt$b G$028957 701 $aTouzot$b Gilbert$028958 701 $aLefranc?ois$b Emmanuel$0520262 701 $aBreitkopf$b Piotr$0918057 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910830747403321 996 $aFinite element method$92058474 997 $aUNINA
