Insofar as they are large and densely populated human settlements with defined legal and political boundaries that comprise clusters of buildings, open spaces, public facilities and infrastructure, cities are mainly spaces of services that are exchanged between a wide variety of stakeholders-namely, residents, traders, visitors, and the city authorities. Moreover, the provision of cities' services has profound effect on the local and global sustainability. Thus, municipal services should comprise environmental, social, and economic values, which are designed, produced, and delivered in concert. Over the years, a variety of new urban models and concepts have been designed and proposed as viable means to reestablish the bond between the human and the natural environments, to increase the quality of life within cities and to reduce the impacts that cities have on the social and natural environments (e.g., sustainable city, smart city, or resilient city). Herein, a new model of the service city is presented, including architecture and several pertinent examples, which considers it as a platform that manages and integrates the services and systems currently provided by the city while offering additional supporting services to increase the effectiveness of the value and to achieve the goal of sustainability. 410 0$aService systems and innovations in business and society collection. 606 $aSustainable urban development 606 $aMunicipal services 615 0$aSustainable urban development. 615 0$aMunicipal services. 676 $a352.7 700 $aWolfson$b Adi$0870909 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910795485403321 996 $aSustainability and the city$93794717 997 $aUNINA LEADER 02959nam 2200589 450 001 9910829149203321 005 20230124200804.0 010 $a1-64469-350-X 010 $a1-64469-349-6 024 7 $a10.1515/9781644693490 035 $a(CKB)4100000011526107 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC6377817 035 $a(DE-B1597)546130 035 $a(DE-B1597)9781644693490 035 $a(OCoLC)1202480725 035 $a(EXLCZ)994100000011526107 100 $a20201208d2020 uy 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurcnu|||||||| 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 10$aRunning in good faith? $eobservant judaism and libertarian politics /$fAlan D. Or, would doing so betray fundamental Jewish values? Running in Good Faith? Observant Judaism and Libertarian Politics considers the seemingly irreconcilable values and political commitments of Judaism and Libertarianism. The latter prizes individualism, self-ownership, private property, and freedom, whereas the former emphasizes community, charity, and service of God. This book seeks to determine if we find here an essential clash, or merely an apparent one. This book stimulates a broad discussion of Judaism, values, politics, and political philosophy and calls into question what people think they know, about both Judaism and Libertarianism. 606 $aPolitical science 607 $aUnited States$2fast 610 $aAmerican politics. 610 $aElections. 610 $aEthics. 610 $aJudaism. 610 $aLibertarianism. 610 $aPolitical Philosophy. 610 $aPolitics. 610 $aReligion. 610 $aTheology. 610 $aUnited States. 610 $aValues. 615 0$aPolitical science. 676 $a895.134 700 $aKrinsky$b Alan D.$01675696 702 $aRabbi Aryeh$b Klapper, $4ctb$4https://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/ctb 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910829149203321 996 $aRunning in good faith$94041390 997 $aUNINA
