Drawing on legal concepts and aspects of the law of human rights, the study argues that the proper frames for human rights are firstly the human body, seen as an index reliant on the natural world, secondly the globe and finally, language. These three frames generate rights to food, water, sleep and shelter, environmental protection and a right against dehumanization. 410 0$aLaw, language and communication. 606 $aHuman rights$xLanguage 606 $aHuman body$xLaw and legislation$xLanguage 606 $aSociological jurisprudence 606 $aSociolinguistics 615 0$aHuman rights$xLanguage. 615 0$aHuman body$xLaw and legislation$xLanguage. 615 0$aSociological jurisprudence. 615 0$aSociolinguistics. 676 $a342.08/5 700 $aMooney$b Annabelle$f1974-$01659422 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910827757303321 996 $aHuman rights and the body$94014044 997 $aUNINA
