Pyramid Texts of the Old Kingdom after a process of ?democratisation? became, in the Middle Kingdom, accessible even to the average Egyptian in the form of the Coffin Texts. Rather they remained an element of elite funerary culture, and particularly so in the Upper Egyptian nomes. The author traces the emergence here of the so-called ?nomarchs? and their survival in the Middle Kingdom. The site of Dayr al-Barsh?, currently under excavation, shows how nomarch cemeteries could even develop into large-scale processional landscapes intended for the cult of the local ruler. This book also provides an updated list of the hundreds of (mostly unpublished) Middle Kingdom coffins and proposes a new reference system for these. 410 0$aCulture and history of the ancient Near East ;$vVolume 73. 606 $aFuneral rites and ceremonies, Ancient$zEgypt 606 $aCemeteries$zEgypt$xHistory$yTo 1500 606 $aTombs$xSocial aspects$zEgypt$xHistory$yTo 1500 606 $aElite (Social sciences)$zEgypt$xHistory$yTo 1500 606 $aDemocratization$zEgypt$xHistory$yTo 1500 607 $aEgypt$xAntiquities 607 $aEgypt$xHistory$yMiddle Kingdom, ca. 2180-ca. 1551 B.C 607 $aEgypt$xReligious life and customs 615 0$aFuneral rites and ceremonies, Ancient 615 0$aCemeteries$xHistory 615 0$aTombs$xSocial aspects$xHistory 615 0$aElite (Social sciences)$xHistory 615 0$aDemocratization$xHistory 676 $a893/.1 700 $aWillems$b Harco$0169425 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910825860603321 996 $aHistorical and archaeological aspects of Egyptian funerary culture$94054845 997 $aUNINA LEADER 04517nam 22006135 450 001 9910349363803321 005 20250609111619.0 010 $a3-030-17223-6 024 7 $a10.1007/978-3-030-17223-7 035 $a(CKB)4100000008618172 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC5811684 035 $a(DE-He213)978-3-030-17223-7 035 $a(PPN)238491536 035 $a(MiAaPQ)EBC5917806 035 $a(EXLCZ)994100000008618172 100 $a20190705d2019 u| 0 101 0 $aeng 135 $aurcnu|||||||| 181 $ctxt$2rdacontent 182 $cc$2rdamedia 183 $acr$2rdacarrier 200 10$aBariatric Robotic Surgery $eA Comprehensive Guide /$fedited by Carlos Eduardo Domene, Keith C. It covers all the stages to fulfill credentialing for performing robotic surgery, from an introduction to the robot device until comprehensive descriptions of surgical procedures. Also, robotic surgery is presented as an institutional program and we describe how to establish a robotic program in a hospital environment. The currently accepted and most common procedures ? sleeve gastrectomy, gastric bypass and duodenal switch ? are described in detail, with a step-by-step description of the techniques, followed by a wealth of photos and videos for each case. Special attention is given to the employment of robotic bariatric surgery in exceptional conditions, such as in super-obese patients, reoperations and revisional procedures. Critical issues, for the success of the robotic surgical interventions, such as anesthesia, are also addressed. Finally, the outcomes of robotic bariatric surgery are described, including long-term weight loss, improvement and resolution of comorbidities and improvement in quality of life. Bariatric Robotic Surgery is the first book specially devoted to this modality of surgical intervention. It is a fundamental tool for surgeons, residents and fellows who want to start a robotic bariatric surgery program. The book also helps experienced robotic surgeons to keep contact with the various available robotic surgical techniques. 606 $aSurgery 606 $aAbdomen$xSurgery 606 $aEndocrinology 606 $aMetabolism$xDisorders 606 $aGeneral Surgery$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/H59044 606 $aAbdominal Surgery$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/H5901X 606 $aEndocrinology$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/H33053 606 $aMetabolic Diseases$3https://scigraph.springernature.com/ontologies/product-market-codes/H33118 615 0$aSurgery. 615 0$aAbdomen$xSurgery. 615 0$aEndocrinology. 615 0$aMetabolism$xDisorders. 615 14$aGeneral Surgery. 615 24$aAbdominal Surgery. 615 24$aEndocrinology. 615 24$aMetabolic Diseases. 676 $a617.9178 676 $a617.43 702 $aDomene$b Carlos Eduardo$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aKim$b Keith Chae$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aPuy$b Ramon Vilallonga$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 702 $aVolpe$b Paula$4edt$4http://id.loc.gov/vocabulary/relators/edt 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910349363803321 996 $aBariatric Robotic Surgery$91736052 997 $aUNINA
