In dieser Arbeit wurden mit Metall-Polymer-Kompositmembranen und einer Palladium-Silber-Kapillarmembran zwei sich deutlich voneinander unterscheidende Typen von wasserstoffselektiven Membranen vermessen. Beide Membranarten zeigten dabei außergewöhnliches Permeationsverhalten. Die Metall-Polymer-Kompositmembranen besaßen bereits zu Beginn der Versuche eine im Vergleich zum Wasserstofffluss durch die reine Polymermembran reduzierte Permeationsrate. Zudem trat eine im zeitlichen Verlauf abnehmende Wasserstoffpermeationsrate auf. Die Palladium-Silber-Kapillarmembran wies hingegen im Vergleich mit Literaturdaten eine deutlich erhöhte Wasserstoffpermeabilität auf. Durch Entwicklung eines umfassenden Permeationsmodells von Wasserstoff in Palladium-Silber, unter Berücksichtigung des konzentrationsabhängigen Diffusionskoeffizienten und wasserstoffinduzierter Spannungen, kann das außergewöhnliche Permeationsverhalten der Kapillarmembran erklärt werden.
