His conclusions differ considerably from the accepted paradigm in the following ways: 1) In contrast to current scholarly opinions, it is assumed that E is the first basic pentateuchal source and that it predates J. J functions as E's first supplementary redactor - much as F. M. Cross, among others, conceived of P's redaction of J. 2) The name "Elohim" is used exclusively by the elohistic source even after Exodus 3 while the verses in Exodus 3 revealing Yahweh's name can be shown to be later additions. 3) Instead of the fragmentary source described by scholars, this study demonstrates the literary unity of E. 410 0$aBeihefte zur Zeitschrift fu?r die alttestamentliche Wissenschaft ;$vBd. 402. 606 $aE document (Biblical criticism) 606 $aDocumentary hypothesis (Pentateuchal criticism) 610 $aBiblical Criticism. 610 $aBiblical Literature. 610 $aPentateuch. 610 $aRedaction History. 615 0$aE document (Biblical criticism) 615 0$aDocumentary hypothesis (Pentateuchal criticism) 676 $a222/.1066 700 $aYoreh$b Tzemah$f1978-$01620536 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910818586003321 996 $aFirst book of God$94048541 997 $aUNINA
