In The Poetics of Otherness in Antonio Machado's "Proverbios y cantares," Nicola?s Ferna?ndez-Medina shows how Machado's poetry and philosophy combine in the folkloric poetry of the "Proverbios y cantares" to critique Spain's cultural milieu during the first decades of the twentieth century. More specifically, Ferna?ndez-Medina shows how the "Proverbios y cantares" reveal an important aspect of the poet's concept of Other. 410 0$aIberian and Latin American studies. 606 $aOther (Philosophy) in literature 606 $aDifference (Psychology) in literature 615 0$aOther (Philosophy) in literature. 615 0$aDifference (Psychology) in literature. 676 $a861.62 700 $aFerna?ndez-Medina$b Nicola?s$0436159 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910817951003321 996 $aPoetics of otherness in Antonio Machado's "Proverbios y cantares"$9838857 997 $aUNINA
