Neither rise nor decline resulted from differences in natural resource endowments, since they began before the use of coal and steam in manufacturing. Instead, political certainty, competitive ideology and Enlightenment optimism encouraged investment in transport and communications. This integrated the national market, intensifying competition between regions and altering economic distributions. Yeshaya. 330 $aIn Poetry and Memory in Karaite Prayer Joachim Yeshaya offers an edition of liturgical poems which the Karaite poet Moses Dar?? composed in twelfth-century Egypt as introductory poems for the Torah readings on each Sabbath. The Hebrew text and Judaeo-Arabic heading of each poem are provided in the original order attested in the manuscript NLR Evr. I 802, dated to the fifteenth century. Every poem comes with a commentary section consisting of English commentary essays and bilingual (Hebrew / English) line-by-line annotations. In the conclusion following this edition, Joachim Yeshaya demonstrates how Dar???s liturgical poems are among the earliest examples of the introduction of poetry, Andalusian Rabbanite poetical norms, and the ?memory? of being exiled from Jerusalem into Karaite prayer. 410 0$aEtudes sur le judai?sme me?die?val ;$vt. 61. 410 0$aKaraite texts and studies ;$vv. 6. 606 $aHebrew poetry$zEgypt$xHistory and criticism 615 0$aHebrew poetry$xHistory and criticism. 676 $a892.4/12 700 $aYeshaya$b Joachim$01533653 801 0$bMiAaPQ 801 1$bMiAaPQ 801 2$bMiAaPQ 906 $aBOOK 912 $a9910812074803321 996 $aPoetry and memory in Karaite prayer$93970170 997 $aUNINA LEADER 01129nam0 2200289 i 450 001 VAN00069318 005 20251008093949.386 010 $a01-981403-0-4 100 $a20090428d1984 |0itac50 ba 101 $aeng$aGRC 102 $aGB 105 $a|||| ||||| 200 1 $aCyclops$fEuripides$gwith introduction and commentary by Richard Seaford 210 $aOxford$cClarendon press$d1984 215 $aX, 229 p., [2] c. di tav.$cill.$d19 cm. 620 $aGB$dOxford$3VANL000020 676 $a882.01$cDramma e poesia drammatica in greco classico, origini-500$v21 700 0$aEuripides$3VANV024949$0229973 702 1$aSeaford$bRichard$3VANV054721 712 $aClarendon $3VANV107988$4650 790 0$aEuripide$zEuripides$3VANV029416 801 $aIT$bSOL$c20251010$gRICA 899 $aBIBLIOTECA DEL DIPARTIMENTO DI LETTERE E BENI CULTURALI$1IT-CE0103$2VAN07 912 $aVAN00069318 950 $aBIBLIOTECA DEL DIPARTIMENTO DI LETTERE E BENI CULTURALI$d07CONS Xd Eur 2021 $e07 1814 20090428 996 $aCyclops$917904 997 $aUNICAMPANIA
